Once the interview was finished, Miles closed the recorder as well as his notebook and proceeded to stare at Soren who was drinking his coffee that Layla had prepared.

"What?" the actor asked as if he did not give a care to the world.

"You jumped out of a window and almost died just so you could get Mikhail to love you?" He asked and Soren shrugged his shoulders.

"So what? It worked. I didn't mind a few broken bones because I got what I wanted."

"Can you tell me that story?" He was about to start his recorder but Soren shook his head and stood up.

"I have somewhere I need to go with Kael when he returns. I'll tell you on the next interview," he explained and Miles didn't have a choice but to agree since he didn't have control over the pace of the interviews.

Plus, based on Soren's stories, the trip they are about to take was far more important than the interview right now because it involved Mikhail.

It was unethical and creepy from Miles' point of view. Soren was an obsessive man who would do whatever it takes even if it meant breaking his own body just so he could get Mikail's sympathy.

However, deep inside, he also was amazed by the relationship going on between them.

He didn't have someone obsess over him like Soren was doing with Kael so he didn't know what it felt like but seeing it in person made him think of what it would be like. Of course, he knew Soren's obsession didn't just stem from one specific trait Mikhail had but rather, was accompanied by his true feelings that revolved around the man's entire identity.

Miles wanted to feel what it felt like to have someone love you so hard they'd do whatever it took to have him. Maybe it would be overwhelming at first but at some point, it might get better.

His relationships didn't go well all the time because it was either because of his personal problems or the other party's. Miles wondered if he could ever find someone who'd love him like how Soren loves Mikhail.

Standing up, the actor proceeded to head to his room saying he had to change for their trip and the journalist was left in the living room alone with his thoughts.

He guessed it right.

The first narratives Soren had in the earlier interviews consisted of his story being centered around Mikhail. It didn't even go into deeper details about his family.

Mikhail. Mikhail. Mikhail. That's all Soren had talked about in most of the interviews.

He had already been expecting that the story would somehow proceed in this direction but it never failed to amaze him how Soren could work and exert so much effort just to do what he wanted and take what he desired.

Now that it was close to the current timeline they were on, Miles was expecting the narrative to end.

Since Soren still had to tell him when the next interview would be, he opted to just go back to his apartment and continue writing the script for the movie he would make. He had all this time off of his hands as Seven gave him the liberty to do so because it involved Soren Chandler so he shouldn't waste it, right?

That's what he thought until the door opened and came inside the man Soren had been going crazy for all these years.

It was still morning and it wasn't too hot outside so based from the outfit and the sweaty look, Miles affirmed that Kael must've gone out for a morning jog.

"Hi, Miles!" Kael greeted him with a smile and the journalist understood why Soren was so obsessed with this person.

Even his heart fluttered when Mikhail threw him that gorgeous smile.
