Chapter 10

"Hey Kerrianne." Roman smirks, liking this outfit on his bunny. She stared at them before finally letting them in.

"What are you doing here guys?" Kerrianne says as she sat on the couch the boys joined her.

The boys looked at each other as they stayed near the bunny who tried not to cuddle into both of the boys' body heat.

"Well first I wanted to apologize for almost hurting you that day." Peter started making Kerrianne look at him with her doe eyes.

"It's okay. I know why your wolf act up. I'm your mate. "Kerrianne says as she stares at Peter. Roman lit a cigarette as the both of them stared at each other. Even though Roman didn't know what mate was he knew that it was something that had to do with their kinds.

"Yeah... you are." Peter stated.

Roman couldn't help but feel jealous of the care that the two had for each other already. Roman huffed which made them focus on him making him like a deer in headlights. Peter coughed finally wanting to talk to her.

"Christina's rumors finally caught the ears of the police." Peter commented.

"What, you being a 'werewolf' and me a 'witch'? Kerrianne says before getting up to go to the kitchen.

"Yeah actually. They called someone from Fish and Wildlife to help with the case." Peter stated.

"There's nothing to worry about." Roman commented.

Peter looked at him.

"She's a digger." Peter admitted.

"Of course, she is." Kerrianne says and she gathered the ingredients.

The boys watched her cook, and she stood cutting the vegetables with expertise.

"We'll just have to keep quiet, so we can keep the Vargulf from killing anyone else." Kerrianne said.

"See, she agrees with me." Roman boosted with a smile.

"This Chasseur lady is listening to Christina because she was the person that found Lisa Willougby." She continued as she grabbed herself a pan before putting it on the stove.

"Is there any way we could know how to find out how she died?"

"My umm Cousin Destiny could help but we're going to need supplies." Peter offered.

"So, what's for dinner baby?" Roman says, making Kerrianne look at him with a smile.

She started laughing as she stirred the steak which was cut in cubes.

"Steak and veggies with rice. Is that okay honey?" Kerrianne teased playing along.

"That's fantastic." Roman smiled at the girl.

She finished cooking, serving them some food. The boys sat down to eat both, almost moaning at the taste.

"It's good right." Kerrianne says with a smile.

"Way better than mom's cooking." Peter started to say.

"Don't tell Lynda." Peter told her, making both Roman and Kerrianne laugh.

"It's better than my servants' cooking." Roman says.

"I'll cook for you anytime you want." Kerrianne commented.

She didn't know that the boys would soon take her up on that. She smiled watching the boys eat her food. She knew she would have to tell them about what she found.

"Peter." Kerrianne whispered, making Peter stop eating to look at his mate.

"What's wrong?" Peter questioned her softly.

"Have you heard of the Bunny Queen?" She asked as she stared at the both of them. Roman stopped eating, wanting to finish the food but wanting to hear what she wanted to say.

"My cousin Destiny had mentioned it to me." Peter responded.

"You know, with everything that happened last night and today." Kerrianne started before continuing.

"I found a book about her- I'll be right back." Kerrianne says before leaving to get the book. She rushed to get the book and the picture that she found of her parents. It took three minutes before she came back downstairs.

"I found this in my attic of course. I didn't even know this house had an attic." Kerrianne voiced.

She gave the book over to Peter who took it.

"And I also found this picture." Kerrianne said to them as she gave the picture over to Roman.

Roman looked at the picture to see the Godfrey clan with Kerrianne's Parents.

"My Aunt had told me this was a vacation house, and my dad was rebuilding it." She added.

"How did you know about the house?" Peter questioned as he looked at the picture also.

"It was in their will. After my parents died, I wanted to get away and find new scenery." Kerrianne said sadly.

"I'm sorry for your loss." Roman said to Kerrianne as he softly touched her hand.

"Thank you." She breathed.

"Can I take this with me?" Roman questioned.

"I can ask my mother about it." Roman added, making her nod.

"Sure, thanks. The more I can understand these dreams the better." Kerrianne said.

Once Peter heard that, he looked up.

"Dreams?" Peter wondered.

"These dreams have been plaguing my mind like crazy. First it was me and this wolf and then I'm being cuddled by someone. And I dreamt that i was in bunny form on this bridge maybe and you guys were there. Then the next snip is me in my ritual gown of course and then I'm making lovetoyouguys." Kerrianne said the end part so quickly that it made them tilt their heads at her.

"What was that last part?" Roman asked.

"It was ... a dream of me making love with you guys." Kerrianne finally says.

They both stared at her in shock and then looked at each other. There was an awkward silence before they finally said something.

"I'm mean... I'm down" Roman says out of nowhere.

Kerrianne tried not to laugh at the facial expression Peter had on his face. She couldn't believe Roman said that. She let Peter look over the book while she cleaned up the kitchen, washing dishes when she actually cut her hand.

"Shit!" Kerrianne yelped, making both boys stand up. Roman walked near her, he could smell her blood and boy did it smell good. He grabbed her hand, lifting it up to his mouth as he licked it off tasting her blood. The bunny shifter stared in admiration while Peter was kind of weirded out. By the time he was done, her hand was healed by now. Roman savored Kerrianne's blood, usually he'll cut himself to give him some kind of relief but with Kerrianne's blood felt like he was on cloud nine. That his mind was focused, and he could only focus on her.

Peter's cough caught their attention.

"It's time for us to go." Peter said, making Kerrianne nod leaving as Roman touched her arms before following Peter out the door.

"See you." Kerrianne whispered before taking the book upstairs. She would have to get ready for bed for school tomorrow.
