Karga suggests we follow the smell of sulfur to get to the lava fields, but Din tells him the Imps will catch us before then. Soon, Din can walk on his own, and we are close to the Armorer. I ask The Force where the others are, but it doesn't know.

We turn some corners and get to the Covert. My heart aches when I see a large pile of armor and helmets. Cara says we should go, but Din can't leave the armor like this, and demands to know if Karga and his hunters are responsible.

Karga tells him no, that when we left the system the fighting stopped. Din demands again if Karga did this, and the Armorer calls out it wasn't him. She uses too many words to say it was the Imperials who did this, and that some may have survived by escaping. Din asks her to come with us, but she won't leave until she has salvaged what remains.

We follow her into the forge, where she is melting down the armor into more easily transportable blocks. Like the ones that protected Karga. "Show me the one whose safety has deemed such destruction." She says.

"You know, you could just say 'Show me the kid'." The Force says. Armorer looks up at me, and I know she can sense it's not me.

'Hey. We had a deal, Force. Let me out.'

"Aw, but I'm having fun being in control! Fine, a deal is a deal." I feel it move back and I drop to my knees as I take control, panting. Din goes to drop down next to me, but I hold up my hand.

"I'm ok. I fine. That.... Was weird." I huff, my voice back to normal. IG brings the baby to Armorer, and Armorer is surprised to learn the kid and I helped save him from the Mudhorn. She tells them about the songs of old that spoke of Jedi and Mandalorians fighting each other, and that the kids and my powers are the same.

"Wait... If I am of a group that is an enemy to Mandalorians, why would you name me a Friend of Mandalore?" I ask, Cara helping me stand up.

"You and the child are not enemies." She states, making something from the melted down beskar. She says the kid is a foundling now, and while he is too young and weak to go through Mandalorian training, it's now Din's and my responsibility to find his people and return him. Cara says the Imps will becoming through here soon, and we need to escape.

Armorer suggests following the descending tunnel to the underground lava river. It goes to the lava flats, where we can make our escape. Karga suggests we leave, but Din says he and I are staying, to help Armorer and so Din can heal. Armorer tells him we must go, because of the kid. "By Creed, until it is of age or reunited with its own kind, you two are as it's mother and father. This is the Way." She states.

She turns to Din and tells him he has earned his Signet. She takes one of the things she's made, and fuses it to his left shoulder pauldron. "You are a clan of three." She says, then walks back to the work table. She grabs the other thing, and walks over to me. It's another necklace, this time in the shape of a Mudhorn skull. She places it around my neck, then looks to Din and says, "Tell me when you two have officially married. We will celebrate."

"We already have." He tells her. She looks to me and I feel her surprise. She asks how, when I don't know my name.

"Learned it recently from someone who was present when I was born." I tell her, "My name is Kira."

"Din and Kira Djarin, of Clan Mudhorn. May your clan grow and strengthen. This is the Way." Armorer says. Din and I repeat it, and we hear explosions again. Armorer tells IG to guard the hall, as she has one last thing to give Din. She gives him a jetpack called The Rising Phoenix.

There's blaster fire, and after a tense moment, IG returns, telling us we are protected. Armorer gives the jetpack to IG, telling him to hold on to it until Din is well enough to wear it. Din restocks his ammo, asks Armorer to come with us again, then we leave with a thanks when she says she must stay.
