Din, the kid and I are in the cockpit of the Crest, looking for a planet to hide on. Din believes we only need to hide for a few months before the whole thing blows over. The kid is standing on the dash, looking at all the buttons and lights on the control panel. He reaches for a switch, flipping it. Din hits a few switches on the other side, and the kid looks at him.

I just sit in my seat, watching them. The kid flips the switch again, and Din tells him to stop touching things. The little sassy bug looks Din square in his helmet as he reaches over and flips another switch, this one making the ship shake. I go to grab the kid, but Din flips the switch and picks the kid up, sitting him in his lap.

It makes me smile to see him holding the kid. The baby coos happily, apparently getting what he wanted. Din finds a planet called Sorgan, which has no star ports or industrial centers, and is as backwater as a planet can get. "Ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little women rat?" Din asks the kid.

I chuckle at the nickname, feeling peaceful. Din looks to me and promises no one will find us on the planet due to the low population. "Sounds perfect, almost like a vacation." I grin. We enter the atmosphere and fly over what looks like a mix of forests and swamps. I see a small village, and get a bad feeling about it. Like the people there suffered recently.

I push it out of my mind and soon we park in a clearing. Din says he's gonna look around and find us some lodging, and for us to stay in the ship. As soon as he exits the cockpit, I look to the kid as he looks to me. He hops off the seat and starts following Din.

I shake my head and follow him, and Din sighs when he sees us standing with him after the ramp lowers. "Come on, you said it was a backwater, barely populated planet. I would assume it's safe to come with you." I smile.

"Ah, what the hell. Come on." He sighs, walking forward I start following him, then stop when I realize the kid is too small to keep up on his tiny legs. I use That Feeling to summon him to me and carry him. We walk through the forest and reach a small village, different from the one I saw earlier.

Din leads us to what appears to be a tavern, where people are eating and drinking happily. I let the kid walk with us so he can get a little exercise. As we pass a woman, I can feel she's warey of us. We sit at a table, and since there's only two seats, I have the kid sit in my lap. A lady walks up and welcomes us, asking if she can interest us in anything.

Din orders bone brother for the kid and I, and I add three of the kebabs I saw cooking. Two for me, one for the baby. The lady asks if Din wants some broth as well, but he declines. He then asks about the woman we passed. The lady doesn't really know anything other than she's been here a week and doesn't seem to be a logger.

Din gives the woman more credits than the food is worth and she starts acting extra nice. Not to say she wasn't nice, but is even nicer than before. She promises to add some spotchka to our order, and when she leaves, I see the woman from before is gone. Din gets up and tells me to stay with the kid.

I get a bad feeling and wait a few moments after Din leaves to follow with the baby. The waitress from before hands me the kid's bone broth, so I give it to him. When we catch up with him, he's fighting the woman in an alley. Something tells me they'll be fine, so we just watch.

They eventually pause, blasters pointed at each other while the baby sips his broth. Both of them slowly look over to see us, and I just raise an eyebrow. "You want some soup?" Din asks. The woman looks at us and Din with confusion, and I can't help but chuckle.

"Something tells me you're not hunting us." I tell the woman. She lets go of Din, still looking confused. "Come on, let's go eat." I tell her, walking back to the tavern. We return to our table and the waitress brings my soup as well as the kebobs. The woman pulls up an extra chair as I feed the baby one of the kebobs.
