The entire time in hyperspace to Tython, we have spent in the cockpit together, save for having to use the fresher. I can feel Din wants to spend as much time with Grogu as possible. We haven't really spoken, but it's a comfortable silence.

Grogu has been playing with his ball the whole time, absolutely fascinating by it. We come out of hyperspace, and I see the planet before us. Din slows down the ship, and turns to Grogu. Din watches him for a few moments, before calling out his name.

Grogu looks up, cooing as he does. Din chuckles, glad to have a name to call our baby. Grogu looks back at his ball, and Din calls his name again. He looks back up, and Din chuckles again before asking for the ball, holding out his hand. The baby holds it back, not wanting to give it up. Din insists, and gets the ball from him.

I watch with a smile as Din holds up the ball, telling Grogu he can have it, just like before. Grogu holds out his hands, and uses the Force to call his ball to him. As he giggles, Din shouts, "Dank farrik!" Grogu drops his ball, thinking he's in trouble. "Hey, no! I'm not mad at you! You did good!" Din reassures him. I feel Grogu's relief as I reach over and pet his head.

"I just... When the nice lady said you had training, I just..." Din trails off, not knowing what to say. He picks up the ball and puts it back in Grogu's hands. "You're... Very special, kid. We're gonna find that place you belong, and they're gonna take real good care of you." Din turns back to the controls, telling Grogu this is the planet that will help us find him a Jedi.

Din tells Grogu he has to agree to go with them if they want him to. Grogu grunts, and I can feel he finds the idea of leaving us as unwanted as we are to part with him.  Din tells him he can't train Grogu, for he's too powerful.

"And I can't train you, you probably know more than I do." I sigh, still petting his head. Din asks if Grogu wants to learn more of the Jedi stuff, as he calls it, and the baby snorts. Din says he promised to return Grogu to his kind, and that's what he's gonna do. I feel he's trying to make the upcoming separation easier, so I reach up and rub his neck under his helmet and cape.

"It's gonna be ok. I can feel it." I smile at Grogu as I keep rubbing Din's neck. We enter the atmosphere, and once we're clear of the clouds, I can see the planet. It's rocky and mountainous. I can see grass and bushes, but there's too many rocks and boulders for trees to grow.

Din flies around, scanning for the temple Ahsoka mentioned. We fly around for about an hour before we find a large structure on a mountain. There's rock pillers leaning in to each other, and I can feel the Force from it. "Looks like that's the magic rock we're supposed to go to." Din sighs. I can feel Grogu is resistant to using the stone.

Din starts circling the place, looking for a place to land. I can see the top of a sphere in the middle of the floor, and Din says he can't find a place to land nearby. He lands at the first stretch of land he sees, which is quite a bit away from the stone structure, and gets ready with his jetpack. He lowers the side ramp, then holds out his hand for me.

"Go ahead, I'm gonna stay with the Crest. I got a funny feeling I need to look it over." I tell him. He nods, then comes back up the ramp. After making sure the kid can't see, he lifts his helmet to kiss me. After the kiss, he lowers his helmet to step off the ramp, jetpacking away with Grogu. I watch him go, then start looking over the Crest.

She's been running beautifully, even better than when I fully repaired her. The Force tells me there's something on the ship that shouldn't be there. I move crates around, the broken droid, the armor we got off Cobb, everything. But I can't find what the Force is telling me shouldn't be on here.

I finally say fuck it, and reach out with the Force. There's an extra piece of tech in my old room. I go up there, and start searching. When I find nothing, the Force tells me to move a panel. When I open the panel, there's a tracking beacon. I pull it out and destroy it, getting on the comm bracelet.
