As we walk with the two guards, I'm glad the second guard didn't hurt the nice man. We come to what I assume is where the Magistrate lives, and barely contain my gasp. There are three people in cages, every now and then getting a small shock. Yep, definitely worse.

I vaguely remember Mr. Goldwin's father telling us orphans stories of when Grizel was young. She did exactly this type of thing, to break the spirits of the people into accepting her power. One of the prisoners begs us to help them, instantly hit with a shock. The only female prisoner groans that She will kill them all as the doors in front of us open.

I use the Force to give them some relief from their pain, the only thing I can do right now. We walk through another door, and the contrast is just like walking into Grizel's wing. There are tranquil ponds and green trees. There's a woman throwing fish food in the water, and she tells us to come forward.

As we step forward, she asks if Din is a Mandalorian. We stop about halfway down the concrete walkway, and he confirms he is. "And what of your work partner? What is she?" The woman asks.

"Don't know. She's forbidden from speaking or removing her coverings due to her religion." He answers. I take the hint, focusing on observation and taking in as much information as I can. The woman nods, still feeding the fish.

"I have a proposition that may interest you." She states. Din tells her our price is high, and she looks at us as if price isn't a problem. "This target is priceless." She states, "A Jedi plagues me. I want you to kill her." Welp, seems the information Bo gave us was correct.

"That's a difficult task." Din answers. The Magistrate tells him he's well suited for it, and has back up. She says the Jedi are the ancient enemy of the Mandalorians, and I remember The Armorer saying just as much. Din reminds her our price is high, and she holds her hand out to the droid guard behind her. It steps forward, holding a silver spear.

She takes it, and my heart drops as she points it at us. I feel relief when she turns it away, just showing off what it is as she asks what Din makes of it. He pats my shoulder to tell me to stay back, then walks forward as she holds it out in presentation. When he's close enough, he takes it from her and studies it, stepping back a little.

He hits it against his arm guard, and it lets out an almost musical clank. I realize the spear is made completely out of beskar. I manage to keep my poker face, but seeing beskar as a weapon doesn't sit right with me. Beskar protects, it doesn't attack. Din speaks out loud as he figures it's beskar, and the Magistrate says it's pure beskar, like his armor.

She says if we kill the Jedi, the spear is ours. He hands it back to her, asking where we can find the Jedi. She smiles and tells us the Jedi is in the forest, motioning her hand. The maskless man from the entrance appears, leading us out of the city. Along the way, he gives Din the Jedi's coordinates. We stand outside the gate, and to my horror, the baby coos.

"What is that thing?" The man asks, look at the baby. The baby grunts, not liking being called a thing.

"I keep it around for luck." Din answers, looking at the man. The man stares at him for a few moments, then tells us we'll need it where we're headed. We start walking towards the forest, and I keep silent as we walk. Once we're far enough into the forest that they can't hear us, I let out a huff.

"Holy fuck! It's Gavin X: The Worsening!" I groan.

"My thoughts exactly. Kinda wish we had Daljar, Jacsava and Fiona with us. Could use a rebellion to sharpen my skills." Din sighs.

"Those people wouldn't even look at us, who are we gonna get to help?" I ask.

"Maybe this Jedi will. I assume the reason the Magistrate wants her gone is because she's been trying to free the city." Din guesses. I nod, and then grin at him.
