May The Way Be With You

Smut 3.0

We follow Bo and the others through the ship, making our way to the cockpit. Suddenly we dip, Bo yelling out that they are taking the ship down, and we need to move. We pick up the pace, but when we get close, there's two troopers with repeating blasters blocking our way. Not even I'm fast enough to deflect all of them. There's too much fire power to even get a glance of where the blasters are to rip them from their hands.

We're losing altitude fast and need to do something now. Din tells the others to cover him as he pulls out two grenades. He runs down the corridor, blaster bolts hitting his armor. He drops half way, and throws the grenades into the group of troopers, blowing them up. Axe holds me back so I don't burn as the flames fly past us.

The three of them run after the flames clear, and Axe stays behind to cover us. We get into the cockpit, and Din grabs the Imp at the controls. Din and Koska get in the pilot seats and just barely stop us from crashing into the water as Bo pins the Imp and demands to know where a dark saber is. She promises to let the Imp live, but he bites down on something that kills him.

Koska tells us he sent out a distress signal, and we need to go. Bo tells her to clear the atmosphere and prepare to jump. Din gets up, grabbing my arm as he does so I follow. Bo offers for him to stay, but we have to get the kid to his people. He demands to know where the Jedi is, and Bo takes off her helmet.

"Take the foundling to the city of Calodan, on the forest planet of Corvus. There you will find Ahsoka Tano. Tell her you were sent by Bo Katan. And thank you. Your bravery will not be forgotten. This is the Way." She says, sounding sincere. Din and I repeat This is the Way, and leave the cockpit. We exit the same way we came, and we both jump off the ship in unison. I squeal as we fall through the air, finding it fun.

Mid air, he grabs me and holds me close as he activates the jetpack, bringing us back to the docks. We come to where the Frog family lives, and we enter their home. It's nice. Feels like a home. Din thanks them for watching the baby, and I see a little baby frog in a bowl.

"Aw, congratulations!" I smile. Frog Lady nods, and Frog Man takes my hand, shaking it. I smile at him, and we leave, Din telling the kid he has enough pets as the baby reaches for the baby frog. I chuckle as we leave, and I feel my back pocket. The paper with the coordinates is still there. Once we get on the ship, I'll memorize them in case I lose the paper.

When we walk up to the ship, it looks like shit. But it will fly, and the whole ship will pressurize. "I gave you a thousand credits, this is the best you can do?" Din asks the dock worker.

"Should have told me, I'd have added to the pot. For a thousand credits and how bad the ship was, this is good." I tell Din as the worker holds out a pad. Din sighs and taps the pad, then we board the ship. There's nets everywhere, proof Calamarians made the repairs. The ship shakes as we take off, and I know we aren't going to be able to be in hyperspace for long.

Din tells the kid we know where to go now, but the ride will be bumpy.  Some kind of sea creature climbs out of the dash, making its way to the kid. I watch Din reach out and kill it, then give it to the baby to eat. I shudder, the tentacles coming out the baby's mouth like a horror holomovie. We exit the atmosphere, then make the jump.

He starts running the diagnostics, and the list of repairs needed is longer than the one I made a year and a half ago. I sigh, not sure how much of it I can repair. Din hears my sigh, and turns to me. "Hey, unlike last time, you're not doing the repairs alone. I'll be helping. We got this, alright?" He sighs. I smile and nod at him.

I then take the paper out of my pocket, repeating the coordinates. Din asks what it is. "The coordinates to Greylandia. Apparently, Bo Katan and this Ashoka person helped the king and queen discover the planet." I tell him. I can feel his surprise.
