What a beautiful Sunday it is. Sort of, it's still winter in the dungeons (appearance-wise). It's mid-June and the easy bliss of the sun and temperature makes everyone a tad happier.

Although exams are coming up soon and Umbridge's hard torment affects a few aspects of life, I've been trying to stay out of her radar; being more careful and cautious ever since I had to Obliviate Filch and alter his memory after catching me running in the morning. Is that illegal? Maybe but hey, self-defence comes first. God knows what Umbridge would've done to me if Filch snitched. She's taken over the school and it's become very apparent that she loves to give everyone's hand a bandage.

I was going to send the Ministry a letter, reporting this issue oh but guess what, our letters and whatnot are constantly monitored. So I figured it'd be too risky.

Selene and I have been exchanging letters faster and the reason for that is because I'm still signing in my mother's name. I find that signing in her name makes the letter seem more urgent and therefore, it's less likely to be checked. Besides, I don't even bother to write where the letter is exported from, that way, no one has to know that it's just a girl from Hogwarts.

I know you're probably wondering if anyone suspects these letters signed by my mother dearest, well, during the Christmas holiday, I snuck into Father's office and borrowed, not stole, one of his many identical 'H' family stamps. He wouldn't have noticed, I doubt he'd even miss it. I had also borrowed some black sealing wax to make my letters look more authentic and 'royal'.

I told Selene to reuse my seal just by simply melting it at the sides. She wasn't sure if she should, considering the fraud I'm doing but, it was an order I've given her. Any trouble then it's my fault. But, I'm quite the persuasive person and who's going to blame two silly girls just wanting to have a closer connection?

That, ladies and gents, is how me and Selene have been communicating faster and that's also how I've been avoiding my letters being checked.

"I'll be off now, let's hope I don't fall into the lake." Daphne picks up her portable picnic basket. "Ta-ta!"

"Take care!" I yell after her as the door closes.

If you can't tell, the girl has a picnic date with her boyfriend by the Black Lake. It seems like today is the perfect day for couples as Milly is also hanging out with Goyle on the grounds. I'm not sure if I can call their rendezvous a date or not seeing as it's so casual. Pansy is with Theo, I'm pretty sure they are in his dormitory. But, she was stressing out this morning. And now, her clothes are all on the floor.

Tracey and I are the odd ones out. She's currently hiding in the Ravenclaw dormitory, sort of. She's just having her ninety-ninth hundredth conspiracy theory talk/ debate with the Ravenclaw girls seeing as they love to discuss these sorts of things. I, on the other hand, am still in the comfort of my dormitory.

That doesn't mean I don't have things to do. Milly's asked me if I can take care of Margarine and take him around the common room (he's an indoor cat). He prefers to eat, sleep and repeat. That's why he's as pudgy as a Quaffle (no offence, I love him). It's a good thing he's not an outdoor cat, Umbridge's law states, "All pets other than owls are confined to house common rooms and dormitories."

I sigh, stretching my limbs and rolling out of bed. I'm in shorts and a tank top. Without my blanket, I feel like I'm in a snow blizzard. So, I reach for my drawers of clothes — I open the last drawer, the one with jumpers, cardigans etc. And mindlessly, I unfold my favourite jumper out of the many selections.

Malfoy's Quidditch jumper.

I bury my face in his jumper, sniffing the smell of his cologne. This very much reminds me of the previous years when I would smell Benjy Williams' signed jersey. It's still framed, hanging up on my wall of course, but I can't remember the last time I smelt it the way I am with Malfoy's right now.
