Welcome my friends to one whole month of torture.
Malfoy Manor.
We were greeted by Lucius Malfoy, the tall delighted fellow with some good hair extensions and has a pretty clean suit on.
The Malfoy Manor is aesthetic don't get me wrong, the exterior is stunning, there are just not enough colours. What was I expecting? Lots of pureblooded families are like this, boring. When I came here for the first time, I excused the dullness due to the season (most of the plants died) but, it's the summer, the vibrant and fun season.
The gardens have a few stone water fountains and plants. There are also two white peacocks just wandering around the grounds, but that's it. I predicted that there would be hundreds of flowers and plants because Narcissa loves plants but, the air isn't at all aromatic because the flowers are just too plain to have an effect.
The ferret is standing as proud as always, looking like a bald eagle. America would accept him very quickly. He's standing next to the beautiful Narcissa Malfoy. Her manners make me feel warm and welcome; she's like that, she has that motherly charm.
She pulls me in for a hug and I reciprocate. "Oh! For a year, you've grown!" Narcissa pulls away from me, her eyes moving up and down at me. "Do tell me what size you are, I wish to buy you cute ones!"
"Size for what?"
"Don't be afraid dear, you can tell me your bra-"
"Mother." Malfoy clears his throat beside her, he sounds like he's actually having a cough attack. Hope he is.
Lucius and my parents are far behind, admiring the grounds and trying to get some entertainment out of the white peacocks.
Good, none of them needed to hear this conversation and they will never hear about it, maybe Mum since she's a woman. I would've told Narcissa if only her son wasn't here. I can understand him at this moment, we both share the feeling of being uncomfortable even embarrassment on my side.
"Boys." Narcissa sighs, shaking her head. "You need a tour, don't you? You haven't seen the whole place yet." She looks at her idiot son. "Draco?"
I can tell he doesn't want to be my tour guide. I can especially tell that he doesn't want me to be here at all. Neither do I. Maybe having Winslet around is a good thing, what a pity he isn't here for this particular holiday to stop me from doing brilliant activities he would never approve of. Such as making sure Malfoy won't be turning up to school in good condition in September if he pisses me off.
"Of course, Mother." His ridiculous fake smile makes me scoff. He softly shoves past me, softly because he's too weak to push me. "Let's go, Rosie."
Rosie? Who the hell is Rosie? Is he mocking me or something?
I catch up to him. "Rosie? What's or who is that supposed to mean?"
Malfoy laughs, a pathetic laugh lacking enthusiasm. "You'll find out sometime later, you could even find out now if you're smart enough." He tugs my hair, making me pay attention to him. His hair is styled, not gelled, brushed back and he's wearing a similar dark blue suit to his father. "Follow along."
"Ew." I cringe. "Say that again and I will pull out my wand on you. You're the dog here, not me."
"They should get you put down," He chuckles, "and by they I mean the veterinarians."
"I beg your pardon-"
"You heard me. Now, stop wasting my time."
Whatever, he looked better at the Yule Ball anyway.
