Two years, it has been two years since I've started running around Hogwarts in the morning and Filch hasn't caught me once. I am too good. The wet grounds are seriously ruining everything though, my shoes are crying for a clean.

"Adria? What are you doing out at this time?" I turn to my left to see an arm around me.

I tap my SilentSneak. "Morning does not exist when your common room is in the dungeons, Cormac. I could ask you the same question."

"Kitchen, I was feeling thirsty."

Not disturbing any of the house-elves, he and I talk in the kitchen. The Gryffindor Quidditch trials are on today, Angelina Johnson is the captain for this year. Cormac is planning to audition and is very confident in the fact he will get in. Of course, I will be coming to watch the auditions, with Tracey maybe, I know Daphne would get bored quickly.

It's common knowledge to not let anyone know the password of your common room but, it doesn't hurt if it's a close friend. Right? Cormac wants to spend more time with me so I take him to the dungeons with me, I'd rather not go into the Gryffindor rooms. He's pretty eager and excited to see my common room anyway.

He comes in slowly, examining the common room. He calls it pretty but cold and that it smells sultry and musky. Personally, for me, the room is too dull. I would add so many decorations, get rid of the skulls that have been "dug up" in Malfoy's words and move the room somewhere that has light. Scratch that, I'd just move the room in general.

From his robe pocket, Cormac hands me some chocolate.

"Just some spares." He says.

One thing I like about him is that he's selfless. Well, to me he is. That's a great attribute to one's character. He always goes out of his way to help me or please me one way or another.

Yes, he can be arrogant but, aren't we all?

For there will always be vice and virtue.

He sits down on one of the luxurious couches and I pick a book from the shelf to read aloud to him as I sit beside him. His arm is around me as I start to read. I'm not even halfway through chapter one when he disrupts me, gently closing the book from my hands.

"Do you not like—" Cormac catches me off guard as his thumb slowly brushes my shoulder.

I try my best to adapt to his touch. I think I can become comfortable with it. I think I can become comfortable with his hand moving to my collarbone and nearly to my neck.

"Do you not like the book?"

"The book does not hold as much importance as you do." He stares into my eyes and it's almost bizarre, monstrous, seeing him so up close and personal as he leans forward.

His eyes lack the green tint that they held in the sunlight; his lips lie on the borderline of a smile, and one side is pulled higher than the other.

"I couldn't bring myself to tell you this earlier." Cormac raises his hand so that he can tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. "I was up all night, thinking of you. I was walking around in the castle, thinking of doing this."

I laugh, "Doing what exactly? Reading?"

"No." He licks his lips. "How about you let me show you?"

"Don't forget to show me too, McLaggen."

The bloke lifts his hand off me in a second at that sound, his eyes are wide and he sucks in a breath.

"Feel free to continue, I'm more of a visual learner. My sister is also curious to see what you have in store so please, be my guest."
