"Darling, it's too cold for this."

We are practising Quidditch with different techniques, using formations.

It's been about three weeks since the scandal sheet occurrence. I had decided to stay at Hogwarts for the holiday as Daphne was staying as well, she helped me write a letter back to Mum and Dad. Turns out, they both were ecstatic to find out about my "relationship" but were disappointed that I didn't tell them. Mum was more disappointed when I expressed my hatred for the git and Dad was furious, furious with the magazine and the people who were involved in making the scandal. He and Lucius Malfoy publicly addressed the situation and dismissed the made-up rumours. Mum and Dad then went as far as to threaten Witch Weekly. The workers were terrified, to say the least.

"Nonsense." I shake my head to Daphne. "It's never too cold to knock some people off their brooms."

Madam Hooch had made me a beater so I'm so ready to just wham and bam at people with Bludgers. Theo and I have to defend Potter, Thomas and Blaise whilst attacking Tracey, Weasley and Parkinson who is smacking her gum and looking at her nails.

"Kick off, when I blow my whistle you start." Madam Hooch waits for all of us to hover in the air with our brooms. She blows her whistle and the game begins.

As my teammates play, I effortlessly knock Parkinson off her broom with a Bludger. It's funny, to be honest, she fell over instantly. I use my bat to protect Potter from receiving any attacks as he throws the Quaffle into a goalpost.

The Quaffle is thrown out once again. I look at who's in possession and the moment I do, I send a Bludger in Weasley's way. He wobbles with the Quaffle, Blaise snatches it from the ginger's hands and passes it to Thomas.

Out of nowhere, a Bludger flying at the speed of light comes charging at Thomas. That must be illegal because Merlin, I've never seen a ball so fast or it's been charmed. Definitely charmed. I fly across the pitch and make my way to Thomas in a technique called the sloth grip roll, it's called this as you essentially hang upside down on your broom. I bat the Bludger away and swing it at oops, Malfoy.

He blocks it. With his wand. He charmed the Bludger.

"Good technique, Harlow! But, you can't send a Bludger to other beaters. That would've got you disqualified in an actual game." Madam Hooch blows her whistle, giving the other team a penalty.

Disqualified my arse. Would Malfoy get disqualified for charming a Bludger?

The final round begins. In an instant, I knock Weasley off his broom with a Bludger. Blaise takes the Quaffle, Tracey intercepts and takes the ball. As Weasley gets back onto his broom, Theo prepares to send a Bludger his way. I throw one at Tracey. Malfoy blocks. He sends it back to me with great force. I feel the hot stinging sensation as the Buldger slightly grazes my shoulder and cuts my shoulder pad. If I hadn't moved in time, it would've cut through the fabric of my robe.

I know me and Malfoy haven't been on the best of terms, we never were. The most he's done to me is use a few jinxes and pinches and he likes to trip me over. But never, has he ever, tried to kill me. I'm the one doing that. Is he trying to plot his revenge on me or something?

That vile, malicious and evil-

The adrenaline boost from the near knockout and perhaps the near-death makes me angry. Not even processing my actions, my grip tightens around the bat in my hand and I fly to Malfoy. Behind him, I wack him with my bat on the shoulder; giving him a taste of his own medicine. This causes him to become unsteady on his broom.

Madam Hooch blows her whistle and screams "foul" multiple times.

"What do you think you're doing!" Malfoy turns around, seizes the bat from my grip and throws it out into the distance.
