Chapter 34

Sabirah's

I just arrived in the province from a two days business trip from Hongkong, and it really drained all my body's energy the hell up.

I checked my phone to look if Ashari has messages for me, and my forehead creases upon seeing that she hasn't text me for two days.

Our last conversation was I am informing her that I'll be on our business trip for two days, since my father has more important matters to attend to, and I also told her that I may become too busy, so I might not be able to text her during those two days. But, I didn't told her to not message me.

My jaw clenched, before I disappointingly put my phone down and chose to rest.

I can feel my muscles are so sore all over, because I barely sleep for two days, and all I do most of the time is sit on a freaking swivel chair. May it be in the conference room, or in the office.

I didn't know how many hours I slept, all I know is I arrived at six in the morning, and when I woke up, it's already dark outside.

I checked the time and saw that it'a now quarter to seven. So I slept more than twelve hours.

When I check my inbox, I saw Ashari has three new messages.

Buti naalala niya.

My baby♡:

Are you home na?

Please don't forget to eat you meal, love.

I miss you.

I know I should be mad, because she didn't texted me during those two days that I'm away, but I can't stop but smile seeing her last message.

This woman is really my living weakness.

Ash's:

Yes, I'm now home and I arrived at six.

I was surprised because she immediately seen my message. Her message was sent seven hours ago, so I'm really surprised.

My baby♡:

Have you eaten your dinner?

Ash's:

I just woke up, so I still haven't.

I'm smiling like an idiot while seeing her messages, but I still tried acting cold, because she still didn't tell me why she hasn't texted me for two damn days!

My baby♡:

Why are you so cold?

Are you mad at me?

Ash's:

I'm not.

My baby♡:

It's obvious that you are, Sabirah.

What did I do?

Ash's:

Nothing, and I told you, I'm not mad, Ashari.😒

My baby♡:

You really are. You're not calling me baby/ love/ Ash.

I bit my lower lip, but still fail to prevent my smile. She really knows my weakness.
