Epilogue

I am crying. Thank you for making it up until this chapter, with me. I will miss them so much, and I very much enjoyed writing them. Thank you:(( I will never get tired of expressing how much I am thankful for all of you.

This was so much fun to write, since it's truly a good feeling to write two characters being in love with each other, with a lighter plot and more on a fluff story.

For those who have supported me since the beginning, thank you. For those who also supported me now, thank you. Thank you, everyone. I love you all. Thank you for giving me reasons and to remind that despite the cruelness of the world, there are still people who believe in me. Thank you, all soooooo muchhhh.☹️❤

Unceasingly, Promise

I woke up when I got disturbed by my phone. It’s currently ringing and I get it to see who’s calling, and saw that it’s dad.

“Sabirah, happy birthday! And good morning,” my dad greeted, and his voice is full of enthusiasm, that I can’t help but smile.

“Thank you, dad. Are you gonna come home later?” I asked.

“Yes, Sabirah, I will. Susunod ako riyan mamaya, I’ll bring Gabe and Torri with me.” My smile widen after hearing what he said.

“Okay, dad. Ingat,” I said, then we bid our goodbye.

I then stand up from laying down, and stretched my arms. As I’m done, I sigh as I realize that my age just increased this day. I’m now twenty-four years old, and currently teaching at College of the North for two years.

I decided to clean myself before going down. I’m kind of hungry now.

After I cleaned myself and dried my hair, I dressed myself with just a simple shirt and cotton short, since I’m more comfortable with it.

As I go down, I saw how some people is busy, and I guess immediately that they are preparing for the celebration of my birthday later. Knowing mom and dad, they won’t let my birthday to be celebrated simply.

Dumiretso nalang ako sa kusina dahil nauuhaw ako, pero agad akong natigilan nang pagpasok ko ro’n, my gazes met with a woman that is in deniably beautiful.. She owns a light brown eyes that really catch my attention.

I don’t know what happen or what has gotten into me, but I just found myself staring more into her, like I can’t bring myself to look away. But, I have to, because the uncontrollable fast beating of my heart is something I am not used to.

I decided to just look away, and rolled my eyes at her to hide whatever I am feeling right now.

Narinig ko pa siyang bumulong ng “sungit” nung nilagpasan ko siya, pero hindi ito nakatakas sa pandinig ko.

“You know, I can hear you,” I said to her using my cold voice.

She just cleared her voice but didn’t talk. I then went to the sink and washed my hands.

While doing it, I can feel her penetrating stares, and I hate how it’s affecting the nerve inside of me.

It’s making me conscious, so, I look at her way again and let our gazes met, before rolling my eyes at her so that she can stop staring at me. My heart hasn’t calm yet, and I hate to admit it that it’s all because of her.

Moments later, I was thankful that mom arrive now, and her face lit up after seeing me.

“Oh, you’re awake na pala already, Sabi. Happy birthday, ‘nak,” mom said, and from acting cold, my face soften and I smiled at my mom.
