"Another day, another attempt to keep myself inside my dreams. I am longing for a love that I can never have. I wonder how I can be happy again. I completely lost myself way back then. Some might say I am selfish. Maybe I am. I can't bear the pain, which I will see in someone's eyes once they know my condition. It's been five years. Five years of sorrow Five years of feeling like an empty shell."

Tears started flowing without Becky realizing it. The happiness that glows in her eyes is now all gone. She's missing a part of her life and is afraid she won't be able to bring it back.

Beck," Richie called as he waved his hand in front of Becky's face. "Are you practicing your part for tonight's show?" Richie sat beside her.

Becky rolled her eyes but was grateful for being interrupted from her thoughts. Richie has been a big support for her during the darkest time of her life. She might already give up if she's all by herself.

"What show are you talking about? I am all about action, adventure, romance, and fantasy. I don't like drama. No more drama in my life." She keeps laughing while singing the song by Mary J. Blige.

"Fine, fine, fine... Just keep your mouth shut while I'm checking the business reports, Richie said, then tried to pick up his juice, but Becky snatched it right before his eyes. "What do you think you're doing? I made Auntie Mhee prepare that juice for me. Give that back to me".

Becky hurriedly sipped the juice and made sure the glass touched her lip a bit longer while looking at Richie. "You really have a knack for ruining my morning," Richie pouted, but there was a glimpse of a smile in his face. He knows it's very typical for them to tease each other. That's how they grow together. Losing both of your parents in a tragic accident five years ago pulled them closer together. Richie could never have asked for a better sister.

Becky feigned shock. "What in a world? How could you say that to the most beautiful sister of yours?" Becky acted as if she was hurt while trying to remove her fake tears.

"If I remember, we're just two siblings. Well, not unless mom and dad have other children that they didn't tell us before they took their trip to heaven," Richie smiles.

Becky smiles, remembering their parents. She's very thankful that they were her parents. Even if they left them, they made sure that the savings in their bank would be able to support them until they were old. They also left a business that Richie is now handling for both of them. They were loved and cared for sincerely by their parents. No words can describe how much her parents mean to her.

Becky looked into his brother's eyes. "I really miss them. There is no day past that I didn't think of them. How I wish I could turn back time." A deafening silence surrounds the siblings. No one dares to talk until Auntee Mhee merges with bacon and bread in her hands.

"Breakfast is here and ready to be devoured by my little Angels. Richie, why did you ask me to make the juice for you if you won't drink it?" Auntee says while putting her hands on her waist.

Richie raised his hands. "Auntie, this naugthy niece of yours stole the juice from me. She made sure to put her saliva on it so I wouldn't be able to take it back." Richie pouted.

Becky was trying to hide her smile, but her laughter echoed and made the other two laugh. She's holding her stomach, aching from too much laughter. This time, the tears that fall from her eyes are tears of joy and not of sorrow. This parallel world of hers will hopefully be aligned with the world she's longing for.

"I love you guys. I am really grateful that I have both of you in my life, though sometimes I am not". Becky laughs while quickly running to her room and closing the door. She can hear Auntie Mhee shouting her name at the same time her stomach growls, " Really, how can you forget? Dumb, stupid, cute girl." Becky slowly opens her door and makes a peace sign. "It's just a prank, guys. I love you both. Cmon, let's eat". Auntie Mhee can only shake her head.

How are you guys? I hope you're having a good day. If not, don't worry; there's a rainbow after the rain.
