A chair screeches as it falls back when Becky stumbles, unexpectedly rising. She is usually a calm person, but hearing her love almost die again brings up the guilt she felt after her parents died. If they hadn't been abroad to cure her illness, they would most likely still be alive today. If she had not returned, Freen's life might not be at risk.

Freen pitied her. She knows exactly what is running through Becky's mind. She tried to reach out, tried to calm her down, tried to feel her skin under her palms, and never let go. She can see Becky's tears attempting to be released as she holds her breath. She knows the situation is suffocating her lover, and it feels like a knife piercing her own heart.

"Freen, stop," Becky says, stepping back as Freen tries to approach. But it doesn't stop Freen. She kept inching slowly, afraid that it would startle Becky and force her to run. Freen knows Becky is close to breaking down like a fragile vase. "Babe... please don't come near me. I will... only put... your life... in danger." Becky stutters as she tries to keep her emotions at bay. She doesn't want to look weak, but it's getting harder and harder.

"I will stay! Nothing can keep me away from you! Nothing! Do you hear me? I won't let go. You're stuck with me, BB!" Freen tries to approach again, wanting to hold Becky in her arms. She wanted to feel her skin, not because Becky needed it but because her body was craving it. When life is overwhelming her, she wants to surround herself in a safe place, and Becky is her safe haven.

"Freen, she's right! I agree with Becky. You both need to stop seeing each other; it's for the best. We need to keep you safe," Billy stated, explaining his reasoning. He didn't believe his desire to separate them was selfish; his only concern was Freen's well-being.

Freen looked at Becky, noticing the pain in her eyes, yet Becky nodded in agreement with Billy, her gaze then falling to the floor. While Freen understood Becky's perspective, she found the idea nonsensical and utterly absurd. "Major Billy," Freen responded, "I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. Going our separate ways won't help; in fact, it would cause even more damage."

"How can you say that when she's the reason you're in this mess?" Billy challenged Freen. "Have you even told them about the car crash?"

"What is he talking about, babe?" Fear can be sensed in Becky's voice. "What is he saying? Wasn't it an accident?" Becky can no longer stop her tears from falling.

"Let's sit first, BB. Let us calm down first so I can explain everything to you." Freen carefully touched Becky's hand and gestured for the younger one to sit down.

"No!.... Billy is right. I can't protect you, Freen. Billy can. He has all the resources to take care of you."

"Bb, can you hear yourself?... Freen is getting frustrated."

"Freen, please, listen to Becky. She is right! You need to stop seeing each other for now!" Billy reiterates.

"He's right! Babe, listen to us, please! It's for your own good!"

Freen has had enough. She feels like her emotion will blow up anytime soon if Becky and Billy keep forcing her to stop seeing Becky. She never feels grateful when Richie interrupts.

"With all due respect, Major, can you please leave us alone for a moment? Let us talk to my sister first," Richie requested.

Major Billy sighed and left the room, but not without looking at Freen first.

"There's nothing to talk about, Richie! Billy is right! I can't protect Freen!"

"Can you sit down first, Bb?" Freen calmly said.

"What for, Babe? Isn't it obvious? I can't protect you and...." Becky suddenly stopped.

Freen holds her own nape with her tongue touching the inside of her cheek. Becky knows that reaction like the back of her hand. Freen is getting pissed. She is sulking, and a sulking Freen is not good. She recalled their teenage days. Freen sulked and didn't talk to her for a week. So when Freen looked at her and asked her again to sit, she shut her mouth and sat.
