A/n: So I was decluttering and found this old notebook I had during the pandemic which I wrote a few things and I found a poem I wrote down. Now it's original is in french titled Sed Non Satiata by Charles Baudelaire and I wrote down an English translation anyway, so I saw it and immediately I pictured Kakashi reading it to Nhira.

I'm saying this is to avoid problems but I didn't write down the name of the original translator for some reason I can't remember and I was searching for it but the translations in the internet are quite different. This is my preferred translation so, here.

      Disclaimer: It's not my translation.

That said, the POV is this,  Nhira and Kakashi are laying in bed on a say, rainy, cloudy day. He had his back against the head board of the bed, the lights were out so they were using candles. He found out she liked poems, like romantic, deep poems so, while she lay her head on his lap he was reading to her a compilation of poems he found.

Sed Non Satiata
(Never Satisfied)

Strange goddess, brown as evening to the sight,
Scented with the perfume of Havana and musk,
Work of some obeah, Faust of the savanna,
Ebony witch, and daughter of the night.

By far prefferred to troth, or drugs, or sleep
Love vaunts the red elixir of your mouth
My caravan of longings seeks in drouth Your eyes, the wells at which my cares drink deep

From out these wide black eyes which are your spirit's vent
Heap fires less fierce upon me
O impertinent, I am no Styx to clasp you times nine

I am no lustful fury to exhaust your lust,
to break your vigor or to make you bite the dust
Or in your beds hell turn in a Proserpine

- Charles Baudelaire
