Kakashi moved through the fray with a sense of urgency, his Sharingan scanning the surroundings in search of Nhira. The weight of worry settled heavily on his shoulders, and every passing moment without her presence heightened his desperation.

He wanted to scream. He was screaming in his mind.

Cold sweat wet his back, his vision shaky and his lungs on fire. He couldn't find his calm or focus. A kunai whizzed past him, almost cutting his eye, but it didn't do much other than cut a few stray hairs. Even then, he didn't stop looking.

Amidst the whirlwind of battle, Kakashi's eyes caught a glimpse of a figure, moving with purpose yet lost in the maelstrom. Her hair of scarlet fire is distinct in the spray of blood. His heartbeat quickened, recognizing her distinctive silhouette amidst the chaos.

He manoeuvred through the shifting tides of the battlefield, his eyes never leaving her form. The urgency in his steps mirrored the intensity of his worry. Kakashi sought Nhira, driven by a deep-seated need to ensure her safety.

Finally, as the dust began to settle, Kakashi closed the distance. Nhira, amidst the remnants of the skirmish, looked up, her eyes meeting his. In that shared moment, the tumult of battle seemed to fade.

        "Kakashi.."

        'I can breathe again.'

"Nhira," he called out, his voice cutting through the lingering echoes of combat. Relief and concern mingled in his eyes as he reached her side, and when he finally did, he wrapped her in an embrace, tight and coiled.

"Don't do that!" His voice raised as he shook her shoulders, "Don't ever leave my sight."

        'There's something wrong with her.'

She nodded, almost on the verge of tears, and yet she smiled when she saw him. 'Her eyes seem...' She had a manic look that bristled against his instincts. Just like when he first met her.

Meeting her father had stirred a tempest within her. The reunion was both a blessing and a curse. Before, she was calm. However, every trace of it had burned away.

There was an itch scratching at the line in her mind that held her sanity, threatening to spill over. She tuned out whatever was happening and couldn't focus on a single thought.

Nhira's mind felt like a carnival of chaos, a frenzied carousel spinning out of control. Thoughts raced at breakneck speed, colliding and intertwining in a tumultuous dance.

       "Kakashi, you're here."

"Yes, I'm here. I'm right here."

But her lips kept muttering his name over and over, her eyes shaky and clouded. Nhira grabbed the sleeve of his shirt tightly, her nails digging into his skin.

Her eyes, usually steady and focused, now darted wildly, pupils dilated with the intensity of her internal storm. The world around her seemed both hyperreal and surreal, a distorted funhouse mirror reflecting distorted perceptions. Colours irritating to the eye vibrated with an exaggerated intensity, screaming amplified to a deafening crescendo.

And their eyes met again, her blue eyes filling with recognition and clarity. "Kakashi?"It's me." And she burst out laughing uncontrollably, a manic sound that echoed in the recesses of her mind.

Yet, beneath the laughter lurked a haunting undercurrent of desperation. Her movements, once purposeful and calculated, became erratic, a dance of unbridled energy unleashed without restraint.
