"It was kind of weird, you know? The way they were dressed you'd think they came to a gender reveal party but it honestly felt a lot like a baby shower.." Nhira jokingly said, she was at the second bowl of strawberries and as Kakashi washed the next batch of berries he worried it was too much.
"Gender reveal? Baby shower?"
His hawk-like eyes noticed the flicker of familiarity and nostalgia in her eyes before she shut off again. He noticed it, when she talked about things she was genuinely fond of or anything related to her real family she would stop when she realised she was talking about it.
