        She loved it, I e of the few times that felt slow was when they talked and basked in each other. No danger, no thrill, and a pleasure of an entirely different kind.

        It was a slow feeling, and calm and relaxed as if nothing was wrong in the world. Drizzled with honey and sleeping underneath the gentle afternoon sunshine with the cool breeze and the wafting scent of pie.

        And, he would talk or she'd make him talk, about his hopes and dreams and she'd think about the ways she could make them come true because she had no dreams for herself.

       'It wouldn't be so bad if his dreams were to be mine too. If he's happy, then I'm happy. So his dreams are mine.'

      And Kakashi wondered why she doesn't talk about her dreams when he thought to himself that he'd do anything to fulfill her dreams.

       'Her joy would be mine. Her sorrows and pain are now mine too.'

         "In the past I had hoped to be recognized as a respected ninja in the ninja world." He began, one day. It was something he wanted before his father's death and even more after.

       'I has to prove the Hatake was more than that. I had to covery father's shame, or atleast I thought it was a shame...."

            "I wanted to be thought of as powerful and to be feared by all my enemies. However, lately I've come to realize that my true goal is much simpler. I just want to be happy and make a difference in the lives of those around me."

        'With the kids and... In yours.'

        He wanted to say but never did.

         He was never much to express his dreams openly, but he aspired to protect his friends and the village of Konoha.

         "Later my ultimate dream became to see my former Team 7, consisting of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, achieve their goals and become great shinobi. I want to be there for them and see them grow stronger."

       'And then you came into my life like a trailblazing fire and set me ablaze. Now you are my dream, Nhira. If only you'd be happy if you knew.'

       At first he thought she would be, however she kept things from him. The deepest and darkest parts of her as if she were ashamed and so he never asked while he, bared himself to his very core and showed her everything from the ugliest to the darkest parts of him.

          "I used to think that I needed to be the strongest or the fastest or the deadliest ninja in order to be considered successful. I thought it could fill the hole their deaths left behind. I realise now it could never be filled, only healed.

         But now I understand that life is about more than just being the best at something. I want to be a good friend, a good teacher, and a good role model." He stopped and cupped her face with his hands as he whispered tenderly, "A good lover..."

        'I used to think I'd never find love like this, it wasn't for me but I guess the world likes to prove me wrong.

         After finding you, Nhira, the other half of me I thought it would be just like I've read. Dramatic, passionate and just... This is not what I pictured. Not the lies, not the secrecy. Despite that, don't you know?
