Namjoon was a grump. He always displayed a frown on his face. People were always intimidated by him, he usually towered over everybody and the fact he was also muscular, made him look like he would beat you up. He also had a few tattoos all over his arms, making him look like a gangster. He didn't show much (if any) emotion, he didn't speak much and he never smiled. This is why everybody was shocked that he managed to land Seokjin as his boyfriend. He was a bright and colourful person, he was all smiles and very gentle.
Namjoon was surprised when Seokjin had come up to him and asked him out. Namjoon had always admired Seokjin from afar but had declined thinking it was a prank. But Seokjin was pretty insistent on wanting to go out with Namjoon. After a couple of weeks of Seokjin asking, Namjoon finally gave in. Namjoon hated to admit that he had a great time with Seokjin, and he even hated that he continued to go on dates with him. He hated that he loved holding his hand, he hated that he loved cuddling with him. He hated how much he liked Seokjin.
"Why would you like me? You're all sunshine and rainbows and I'm...the way that I am." Namjoon asks Seokjin as they walk hand in hand around the park.
"I like the way you are. I've always liked the way you are." Seokjin says softly, looking at Namjoon with a smile. Namjoon hated the way that people would stare at them, judging Seokjin for being with him. Namjoon knew Seokjin was way out of his league.
"I'm not good enough for you."
"You're right, you're more than enough for me. Too good, hard for me to handle how perfect you are sometimes." Seokjin laughs to himself, now directing Namjoon toward the new flower garden.
"I mean it Seokjin."
"So do I."
Namjoon doesn't say anything but watched as Seokjin bent over to admire the roses. One thing Namjoon didn't hate was the view (wink wink).

Namjoon showed Seokjin his new tattoo, who looked in awe. He always wanted one but was scared it hurt.
"Why did you get a tattoo of a small happy sun? It doesn't go with your other tattoos." "Just reminded me of you and I wanted to get it."
Seokjin coos, feeling like he could cry with how sweet the sentiment was.
"And the frowning rain cloud beside it?"
"I wanted to be next to you."
"Ah" Seokjin giggles, now holding Namjoon's arm to look at the smiling sun and poking it.

Seokjin's friends wanted to go to the carnival that had just arrived in their town, but Namjoon hated the idea. He hated loud places and the fact that every game was basically a scam. But seeing the bright smile on Seokjin's face at the mere mention of it made Namjoon go. So here he was, standing with his signature frown, as Seokjin and the others were all busy laughing and pointing at all the things they wanted to do.
"Can you hold my hand, please? I get scared on rides" Seokjin asks Namjoon as he dragged him.
"It's the teacups?"
"Yeah but they spin fast"
Namjoon rolled his eyes at his stupidity but held his hand anyway making Seokjin kick his feet like a child. Namjoon wasn't overly pleased with the teacups, they were pretty boring but seeing Seokjin screaming and enjoying himself made him tolerate it.
Seokjin took Namjoon to the water balloon game, his eyes twinkled as he saw a pink flamingo toy hanging up.
"Did you wanna play?" Seokjin asks Namjoon.
"Nope, it's stupid"
Namjoon knew Seokjin was barely paying attention to him as he kept looking at the flamingo.
"I want it" he grinned sinisterly, making Namjoon laugh in his mind. Namjoon stood beside Seokjin, watching as he played again and again. Namjoon smiles a little as he saw Seokjin concentrating, he looked adorable.
"Ah it's a shame" Seokjin sighs, looking again at the flamingo.
"You're done?" Namjoon asks, usually Seokjin was super competitive.
"Yeah I don't want to waste my money, we haven't seen everything else. Plus, I'm hungry. Did you want anything?" Seokjin asks, Namjoon shakes his head, watching as Seokjin walked off toward the food stand. Namjoon looked up at the flamingo, internally sighing at himself.
