I finally arrive home it's nine pm so I wouldn't be surprised if Lizzie's in bed already.
I open the front door and take off my shoes quietly so I don't deserve Lizzie anymore than I need to. "I'm upstairs!" Lizzie shouts so i go upstairs and open the bedroom door "hey" I smile and sit on the bed next to her. She puts her book down and stares into my eyes "where did you go? It seemed pretty urgent" I sigh "I didn't want to tell you like this". Lizzie cups my face and nods "whatever it is you can tell me" I lean into her touch and kiss her palm. "Ok so basically my boss said he don't get enough money having the photography company here so instead he's moving to New Zealand with the company. He wanted all of us to come with him" she looks at me questioningly "but that means you'll move there. No your not leav-" "I haven't finished. I quit my job, I couldn't leave you or Scarlett here" "what? No! You love this job" I smile and hold her hands "well the year before I met you I left university with a a degree in nursing. Now I'm a nurse practitioner and a midwife". I laugh watching Lizzie's face change to utter shock "wh-what?" I nod and bite my lip "I delivered my first baby earlier".
"Your kidding. Stop lying to me" Lizzie pushes me and I fall onto the bed, I laugh and pull her ontop of me "I'm not. I promise I'd never lie to you" Lizzie smiles and kisses my lips. "You delivered a baby?" I nod "yeah. It's was boy" Lizzie quickly smashes her face against mine and holds me in a delicate but passionate kiss "im so proud of you. Does Scarlett know?" I nod "she wants me to be her midwife" "I can tell you don't want to. Why?" "Because she's basically my sister, I don't want to put my hands up her. The only person I would do is to that I know would be you". Lizzie's smiles grows and her eyes sparkle "remarkable. You do it anyway" I push her away from me "get out of here! You do it a lot more". She laughs and stares down at me "I'm so proud of you" I smile softly and kiss her cheek "you delivered a baby" she whispers making my heart warm "maybe I'll deliver ours one day". Lizzie pulls me ontop of her "I love you" "I love you too ".
We get ready for bed and I snuggle close to Lizzie "your working again tomorrow right?" I nod "yeah, starts at ten and ends at nine" Lizzie puts her arms around me "are you delivering another baby?" I nod "yeah but it's twins". I look up at her "you'll do amazing. I know you" I smile and rest my head back on her "I guess. It's not a C-section though so I'm worried" "but if it's not a C-section everything's okay. So there's no need to be worried right?" I shrug and snuggle into her "I don't know".
I take of my top and face Lizzie in my bra "what?" I smirk as she looks down my body "nothing, your just too beautiful" I laugh and slide of my trousers "I'm going to walk around the garden, you coming?" Lizzie grabs me tightly and locks her fingers around my body so it's impossible for me to move "not happening. People could see you and noone can share your body except me!" I laugh and shuffle up her legs so there's no room between us "I love you" I whisper rapping my arms around her neck "I love you too" I kiss her lips passionately whilst her turns us over so I'm laying down on the bed. Lizzie hovers above me so I stare up into her eyes "do want to sleep ooorrr?" She asks "I think you know exactly what I want to do babe".
I wake up to kisses being peppered allover my face this morning "morning beautiful" Lizzie whispers and I still feel her brushing her fingers over my cheek. I open my eyes tiredly and turn to look at her "morning" I mumble making her smile. I pour my lips so she's gives me a soft kiss and also runs her hands through my hair "you've got to get up" "why?" "Your delivering babies today" "uh why did I choose this job?" I whine sitting up "because you would be in New Zealand miles and miles away from me" she giggles. I take the duvet back off me and climb out of bed, Lizzie grabs my hands and leads the way down to the kitchen.
"Here" she puts a plate down Infront of me with bacon, pancakes and syrup "your amazing" I tell her and kiss her lips quickly. She sits opposite me with hers and we both start eating "when's the premiere for Godzilla?" I ask "umm not for a couple of weeks. Why?" I shrug "just wondered. Should I come and take some beautiful photos of my beautiful girlfriend?" I ask and Lizzie blushes "well ofcourse" she smirks making me smile.
