Today's Christmas and I'm very excited. Lizzie might be a little bit right about my stomach, if it was bloating it would definitely have gone by now. Everyones coming over today including Scarlett and Rose this morning.
I'm downstairs making sausage rolls at the moment listening to artic monkeys whilst Lizzie's still sleeping. Such a lazy sausage. Leias by my legs watching up at me whilst I spread the sausage meet into the puff pastry. "No, this isn't for you. Don't give me your cute eyes" I smile and get back to cutting them "ugh fine. That's all your getting" I drop bit on the floor for her and she quickly gobbles it up "don't tell mama" I whisper and get back to making them. After I finish making them and putting them on a tray, I put them in the oven and set the timer "good morning. Merry Christmas Leia" I close the oven door and turn around to see Leia fussing over Leia who's tail is wagging vigorously. I walk over to Lizzie and wrap my arms around her neck "merry Christmas" "merry Christmas to you too" I smile and peck her lips. Her hand finds its way to my stomach and we smile into eachothers eyes "how's blueberry this morning?" "The same as she is every morning" "you know he's a he right?" "Um no" she smiles softly and kisses my cheek "your adorable. What's cooking?" "Sausage rolls" she licks her lips and goes over to bread board "have you eaten?" I nod and watch her cut a slice of bread for her breakfast "Scarlett should be here in an hour and you need to getyohrs ass out of those pajamas" I say rubbing Leias head.
The doorbell rings and I run over to answer in my santa slippers. Leia follows behind me and so does Lizzie. I open the door to find Scarlett holding a tray and Rose standing next to her "hey Rosie!" I squeal and bend down and pick her up "you've gotten so big! Your hairs so pretty" I coo over her and touch her cute little pigtails with pom poms in them. I look up at Scarlett and smile "I missed you" Scarlett says with a smile "I missed you too Scarjo". Lizzie takes the tray from her and I hug her tightly with Rose in my arm "merry Christmas honey" "merry Christmas" she pulls away and smiles down at my stomach "how's my niece or nephew?" "Healthy, strong, basically everything good" I smile and stroke Rose's cheek "these biscuits look amazing Scar" Lizzie says and I have a quick glance at them. They do.

I carry Rose into the lounge and sit her on my lap on the sofa "do you want to play a game?" She nods so I sit her on her floor and join her "what should we play?" I ask and fold my feet under me. Rose starts playing with my slippers so I'm guessing she's entertained. Leia watches her so I join Scarlett and Lizzie in the kitchen "hey, what are you two doing?" I question walking over to them "talking. Look how cute her little bump is" Lizzie coos and cups my stomach "it's not cute" I tell her and smile at Scarlett "it's kinda cute". The three of us go into the lounge and find Rose crawling over Leia "Rose leave the puppy alone" Scarlett whines at her sitting down "Rosie come here, give auntie Lizzie hugs" Lizzie tells her and run waddles over to her. She's getting very good at walking now and her speech has come a long way which is good. Lizzie sits Rose on her lap sideways and puts her arms around me securely "so what did mommy get you for Christmas?" "Elephant" I smile at her cuteness "an elephant! A real one!?" Rose shakes her head and giggles cutely. I lean on Scarletts shoulder and watch Lizzie and Rose "that's going to be you guys in a couple of years" she whispers making me beam "I know. Do you fancy being our nanny?" Scarlett laughs and shakes her head "no definitely not. I've got my own child to nanny". Leia jumps up on the sofa and lays her head on my lap against my stomach "our presents are in the car for you guys. I'll get Lizzie to help me get them out" "I can help, I'm only ten weeks pregnant" I tell her but she strokes my hair "yeah pregnant. No lifting, you said it yourself" Lizzie says with an eyebrow raised.
Lizzies mum and sisters have finally arrived and Lizzie's got Scarletts presents in from the car meaning the presents under the tree are spreading out into a metre radius. I hug Rose who's on my lap whilst Jarnie, MK, Ash, Scarlett and us watch Arthur Christmas whilst Lizzie's in the kitchen preparing dinner. I pull the blanket over Rose and tuck it around her "cosy?" She nods and nestles into my chest with her thumb in her mouth. The movie carries on playing and the more it goes on the more desperate I am for a wee. I craddle Rose and move her onto Scarletts lap, of course she fusses but it isn't for long "I know, I'll be back in a minute" I go to the bathroom and have a quick check on Lizzie who's busy slaving away in the kitchen. "Hey, can I help?" I ask making Lizzie turn around "no im okay. Come here" I walk over to her and get pulled into a hug straight away "you came in here for food" she mumbles making me smile "mhm I'm starving, baby's starving, all of the world's starving. I need some food" I pull away and look into her eyes "I made cookies, you can have one of them" I smile widely and lick her ear "thank you". Her hand caresses my stomach as I lean over the counter to get a biscuit "you nearly squished blueberry" I raise my eyebrows "no I didn't. Blues fine" I assure her and bite into the biscuit "I like you pregnant" she whispers and smiles at my stomach "you do now but in a couple of weeks you definitely won't. You've never seen me pregnant babe" she kisses my lips and strokes my hair "you'll be cuter than now" I smile tiredly "when I was pregnant with Grace I was up all night eating and watching films in bed because she wouldn't stop kicking. I turned into a hormonal wreck for five months and slept outside because the house was too hot. I'm not sure you'll think the same when that happens" Lizzie cups my cheek and nods "I'll always love you. Even when your hormonal, do all those things and have a big stomach. Oh and boobs" I laugh "your carrying our baby and nothing is going to change the way I feel about you" I lean into her and rest my chin on her shoulder "I love you'.
She follows me into the lounge and sits next to me on the sofa. Her hands immediately find my stomach which she starts caressing with her thumb and I lean back onto her chest. Jarnies smiling at us from the other sofa whilst everyone else hasn't even noticed us because their too ingrosed in the film. I'm sitting between Lizzie's legs and we are going down the sofa so our legs can rest on it, noone on this sofa so it's just us. Leia jumps up Infront of me and lays down with her head on my cervix. I give her head a good stroke and look up at Lizzie, she pecks my lips and brings her hand up to my face to stroke my cheek before moving them back down to my stomach. I put my hands ontop of hers and watch the film.
It's present opening time and I'm so excited. "So who's going first?" Lizzie asks taking her hairtie out so her hair fall just past her shoulders "Rosie can pick" I tell her and get of the sofa. I pick rose up from Scarlett lap and stand her on the floor "go and pick one" I tell her and follow her to the tree. She struggles picking one up so I help her "this one's for mummy" I help her carry the present over to Scarlett and then join Lizzie back on the sofa. I curl my legs up and lean on her shoulder whilst we watch Scarlett open her gift. She got a pair of slippers and a molten brown shower gel from us which is a nice gift, gotta admit. She gets up from the sofa and gets the next present "here" she boinks me on the head with it first and then puts in on my lap "I'm guessing this is from Scarlett" I say turning over the label to read it. I was right. I tear open the wrapping paper and lift up and booklet that's inside "it's recipes that I made for my cravings. Some of them sound really disgusting but I promise they are nice" Lizzie takes it and has a flick through "I'm sorry but how is jam and pickle sandwiches good?" I smile and take it from her "thank you, I'll have a look at that" she smiles and watches as I take the other gifts out. They are both maternity dresses and there's also an oversized fluffy jumper "thanks Scarlett" she smiles. I get up and grab the next present which is for Ashley, Lizzie pulls me back into her and we both watch. Ashley open her present.
All the presents have been opened but mine and Leias. Lizzie brings a parcel out from the hallway and puts it Infront of me "Lizzie what is this?" I ask cutting the tags off it "open it and you'll find out". I open the box and pull out a circular pillow "mhm I need one of these" I smile and lay on it "what is it?" Mary Kate asks "when she's sleeping, her leg goes over this side and her stomach rests on it. I'm not sure the point of it but y/n wanted it" Lizzie explains "I want it so I can sleep when I'm five months pregnant" I tell her and close my eyes "are you guys having a baby shower?" Scarlett asks "we're not sure yet. We haven't decided if we want to know the gender" "Lizzie wants to even though she's adiment it's a boy but I don't" I tell them "well whatever you two choose, I'm sure you'll pick the right choice". Lizzie puts Leias gift on the floor and she demolished the paper in seconds before playing with the monkey squeeze toy. "that is going to drive me insane' I tell Lizzie rubbing my face "your the one who choose it, it's your fault" I nod and cuddle my long pillow.
