"14-YEAR-OLD GIRL FOUND DEAD INSIDE FAZBEAR ENTERTAINMENTS' FORMER FUNTIME FREDDY ATTRACTION" The headline screamed at you, the article was written a while ago, years ago. The article was short but thorough and was from the early 2000s, that would've meant you were pretty little when this happened.
The girl had gone for a walk but never came home. A search party found her inside Freddy and arrested the man who'd bought him which was her grandpa. Her grandpa killed her on Christmas? That's awful. Millicent was found dead on January 2nd, 2001 and her grandpa died in prison after just a week since the inmates don't appreciate people who harm kids.
You shut the laptop and put it next to you, is that why Freddy doesn't wanna talk about where he came from? Cause he's upset that he was used to hide a body? Is that why his chest cavity smells? But why is it only now starting to have a noticeable odor? It's too late to be trying to find an explanation and yet, here you are.
You lay there all night looking at the ceiling trying to answer your questions but it wasn't easy considering how exhausted you were. You looked at Freddy, wondering if he might've found the event traumatizing. It'd make sense if he did, after all, he did love children considering the fact he entertained them at parties! Poor Freddy...
You turned on your side to look at him. You slid closer to the edge of your bed and placed a hand on top of Freddy's head. The smooth metal that encased his wiring felt nice, it always did. It was so calming to touch even if some spots were rusty. Freddy's head twitched before his eyes opened, looking right at you.
"Cupcake?" An expression of confusion appeared on his face, "I thought you would've been asleep by now. Is something wrong?" You looked at him with widened eyes, not wanting to tell him what you'd been up to for the past hour. "I'm just..." You paused to try and think of an excuse, "I was just thinking about how I can renovate you! I'm too excited to sleep," you said with enthusiasm, sounding like a kid on Christmas.
"Just don't change me too much, Y/N... I like who I am." You smiled at him, you liked who Freddy was too, "Don't worry Freddy, I won't change you that much!" Your reassuring comment seemed to relieve Freddy's doubts. He leaned back against the wall, "Get some sleep, Y/N. You need it." He joked, laughing slightly.
You lay back down and felt the back of your head melt into your pillow. Millicent had been left to rot in Freddy's chest, and you sat in there. You shuttered and winced at the realization. The first thing to do for Freddy's renovation was clean him, and to clean him well. You didn't like the thought of Alex being trapped under your floors or poor Millicent having been in Freddy's chest.
You looked back at Freddy who had his eyes shut, almost like he was sleeping like a person. You pulled out your phone to try and find materials but Freddy took your phone and put it next to him, "I guess you weren't asleep," you looked down at the dark floor scanning for your device. "I said sleep, Y/N. Go to bed."
"I will in a minute!" You said in protest. You leaned over and stretched your arm over Freddy to try and get your phone back but Freddy pulled you down and trapped you in a bear hug. Freddy pulled the blanket off your bed and wrapped you in it, leaving you helplessly struggling for freedom, "ugh! Freddy!"
The bear laughed as you twisted around in his arms, "you're not going anywhere Cupcake!" Freddy's grip tightened slightly, it wasn't hurting you but you were definitely stuck. "Time for bed, Y/N." Freddy said in a gentle tone before he began to play his music box. The soft melody filled the quiet space and lulled you to sleep soon after.
Lydia's POV:
There was a loud knock on my door a few hours after Y/N had left with that thing even though it was a stupid idea. I looked out the door and saw a pair of cops standing on my porch. I opened the door but kept the deadbolt locked, "can I help you?" I asked, annoyed as to why they had shown up at such a late hour.
"We received an anonymous tip and we need to search the property." The officer sounded angry but I wasn't sure if it was because it was so late or he was having a bad day, "I don't consent to a search," I told him with confidence in my voice. "We don't need your consent," the officer pulled out a search warrant and held it up to my face.
I unlocked the deadbolt for them and stepped out of my house. They sat me in one of their cars which was much better than shivering outside. They searched my home while others looked around outside. All at once, I noticed their lights in my backyard while they conversated. I didn't know what they were doing but it was giving me a bad feeling.
Officer Davis's POV:
We'd been looking for him for longer than anyone would like to admit. That poor boy was almost nothing but bones but here he was, sitting in someone's backyard only covered by the shade from the evergreen trees that seemed to surround me and my men. He was last seen alive entering Y/N L/N's house, how'd he get all the way out here?
The two must be working together, according to the information we received, the two were close friends but why do this to some random boy? This case had already been going on for a while but I suppose it won't be ending anytime soon. I'm not completely sure where to go from here. I guess I'll have to inform the boy's parents that he's been found.
