As you exited the room to return to your rented space, a camera turned off.
"This should be easier than I thought."
You opened the door, walking inside and laying down on top of the bed. You stared up at the ceiling fan, lost in your thoughts... You had a lot in your hands. You probably needed to fix Freddy, get to know Circus Baby (and the others a bit more), be a good employee till you can get Freddy out...
So much could go wrong...
You opened the notes app on your phone and began trying to write out what you had to do and in what order you should do it...
Be a good employee was something you would have to do all the time, so do your tasks everyday, don't break anything, don't let Dave find out about your plan....
Fix Freddy, at least to the extent where he wasn't struggling to do so much as speak and stand...
Get the know the others...
Alright. You had your thoughts neatly put together, that helped to put your mind at ease... You set your phone down, relaxing into the covers of the bed...
Lydia stood by your parents, the three of them standing in a void of white emptiness. Freddy was directly behind you, so was Alex... That bastard. That fucking dimwit.
He did this. All of this was his fault. Wasn't it? He nearly assaulted you. He got your best friend thrown in a cell. He got Freddy sold off to some company he didn't trust. Hell, you didn't trust it either. Dave made Freddy scared, this huge robot was afraid of this man, that was a really bad sign.
But this was all Alex's fault...
He lashed out at your parents and Lydia, grabbing them. In just seconds, they vanished. It was just you and Freddy... Where'd they go... You looked around but your gaze only landed on Freddy... The rest of the Funtimes had appeared. Circus Baby stood front and center, a warm smile painted across her face in bright red... Her stomach opened, and out stretched a robotic arm holding a cone of vanilla ice cream...
Your alarm chimed right in your ears with an obnoxious screech. Odd dream, you swore you felt hot... Maybe you were running a fever. You sat up, looking around. Obviously nothing had changed. What was your plan till work? It was only 1 pm.
You looked around your room, your gaze landing on your bag. You might as well make something to eat, you couldn't remember if you'd eaten something before you fell asleep last night.
You stood up and grabbed your bag, rummaging through it to see what you had. Canned ravioli and spaghetti, corn, sausage, peas, spam... Sausage, peas, and corn for breakfast?
While not the most appealing meal you'd ever had, it'd keep you satisfied for a little while... You wished Freddy was here to cook for you, or your mom... What could you do today.
The pizzeria was open today, why not go see if there was any work there to do? You were sure they'd all appreciate you more if you made an effort to come in even when you didn't need to... That's what you'd do today, help out.
And maybe pay Freddy a visit...
After about an hour, you were back at Circus Baby's. You entered through the glass doors, the sounds of music and excited screams echoed throughout the building. Ballora and Foxy were walking around interacting with guests while Circus Baby stood on stage behind a rope barrier with a man standing in front of it. You continued walking, unsure if the animatronics were aware of your presence.
The camera shifted to follow your movements as you kept walking to parts and service. "Back already... Persistent as I thought."
You walked down a hall that'd take you to Ballora's Gallery and as you turned a corner, you found yourself face to face with Dave.
"Y/N!" He smiled, "Didn't expect to see you, what are you doing here? Came to see Freddy?" He leaned over slightly while placing a hand in your shoulder. He maintained eye contact, if you could call it that... His eyes were dark, missing the lively glisten that you remembered them having.
"Well, yeah sort of..." You trailed off, "I was wondering if there was something I could do to help?" Dave nodded, standing back up. "If you could go to my office and just help with booking parties, that'd be a huge help." You nodded and smiled, guess Freddy will have to wait.
Now here you were, in Dave's office booking parties, an almost mind-numbing task. As another ring from the phone sounded, you picked it up and as you opened your mouth, the caller cut you off.
"William? William it's almost done, your idea actually worked! You're a fucking genesis!-" You cleared your throat, causing the man on the other end to stop speaking. "Sir, I think you have the wrong number, nobody named William works here," you corrected politely.
The caller was quiet for a moment, "I need to speak with Dave." You hummed, a bit confused but didn't know any better than to buzz Dave to come to his office. He arrived in minutes and shooed you out. You weren't sure what that was about, but you decided this was the perfect opportunity to see Freddy.
You finally made your way through Ballora Gallery and to the door of Parts and Service. You turned the knob but it didn't budge. You tried again, and again... Nothing, someone had locked it. That was odd, maybe they locked it during the day to keep guests out? That seems logical enough.
You huffed, with no other choice, you headed back towards the main room to leave, you were sure you could find something outside of work to keep you busy... As you came back to the entrance, you looked behind you to see Circus Baby standing on stage, singing a currently semi-popular song. As you left the building, she couldn't help but wave you goodbye.
