2. Imagine That

2 months later- February

"We've been listening to the same artist for over 30 minutes!" Eva shouted.

"Oh shut up you know you love it," I responded bobbing my head to the beat. All three of us are heading out to eat, Eva and Max are meeting up with their partners. I'm the only one that has a car with space for the five of us, so I get to drive. Which means Billie Eilish blasting through my speakers.

When we arrived, we were greeted by Olivia and Jackson. Olivia leaves a kiss on Max's cheek and Jackson hugs Eva. Jealousy strikes once again.

We sit down on the patio outside, Eva and Max are too occupied so I order for us. I sit there on my phone waiting until the food arrives. Eva and Jonathan nervously made small talk, Max and Oliva all up on each other with their tongues down each other's throats.

When my food arrives I'm satisfied with my pancakes. Maybe pancakes are childish but I fucking love them. "So how was that girl you had over?" Max asked after finally taking her tongue out of Olivia's mouth.

"She's a screamer," I laugh and put a bit of pancake in my mouth. I look over to Eva and Jackson who are acting like they haven't met before. 

"So Eva's been telling us how much of a robot guy you are," I inform him. He straightens up and looks at Eva then back to me.

"Yeah. I like to make them for fun. They take a long time to complete but it's worth it." He says, I already regret mentioning it. He goes on and on about his latest one, I keep thinking when he's going to stop and he never does. I'm down to my last pancake when he finally does stop.

"So cool!" I say not trying to sound sarcastic. Now they are both comfortable so they talk to each other.

After everyone is done eating we head to my car. Everyone gets in and we head to the beach.

Once we get there, we head to the bathrooms to change. I change into a pair of blue swim trunks and a black bikini top. We all head to the ocean placing our stuff in a good spot before heading in.

We played for a while until Eva and Max once were all up on their partners, completely ignoring me. Trust me, I'm happy for them it just the feeling that they're doing it on purpose to piss me off. I know they aren't but the little voice in my head says otherwise. I decided to get out, distract myself, and read a book.

A group of 6 people placed their stuff down next to us, I don't mind them sitting next to me but they brought an umbrella blocking my sun. I decided to get up to let them know.

"Hey, I'm sorry but do you mind placing the umbrella on the other side?" I asked politely. I was talking to a guy and he looked to be in his late 20s.

"Uhh yeah actually, you should've told us before we put it up," he spits. You know how some people's voices are just so annoying and aggravating to hear? Well, that's his, I clenched my jaw listening to him talk.

"Look dude, all I wanna do is sit IN THE SUN and enjoy my book. Please just move your umbrella," I ask once more hoping for his change of heart. It didn't look like he was changing his answer but a woman in what looked like her early 20s came over.

She looked fairly familiar but I couldn't put a name on it. She was extremely beautiful though, she had what's called vitiligo and a pretty pattern on her face. The paler part surrounding her eyes was like two patches, the same around her lips. She had a beautiful body, it wasn't hourglass but who said that was the most beautiful body type? She was wearing a yellow bikini and a sun hat. I couldn't quite see the color of her eyes because of the sunglasses covering them.
