It had been a few weeks after the loss of your mum but with the brothers help and BF/Ns help you were doing so much better.
You permanently lived with the brothers now and cleaned the house while they were away as a thank you even though the cup didn't want you to you had to do something to repay them right? To repay him after all he's done for you to help you through your grief.
Including sharing his room with you!.

You were back to your oldself because of the cup and his love n support the date the other week helped so the cup had planned to take you on another tonight after dinner.
Which he was cooking..he had a rough day at the casino today.. mugman told you that aparently some demon wasn't to nice to the cup and made harsh remarks about his height and broken straw.
Mugman wasn't around to hear this at the time so he couldn't defend his brother which he feels awfull about and you were at home so you couldn't help or defend him either.
You knew it upset him and he was hiding it though..so when he was cooking you walked over and hugged him from behind.
"Princess jeez you scared me heh"
"How's my prince doing? Do you need any help?"
"Nah I'm alright how about you? How's my princess doing?"
"I'm alright too..I'm sorry you had a bad day my prince"
"It wasn't your fault my love you have nothing to be sorry for every now and again we do just get those stupid demons or assholes like that it's fine"
"But he upset you"
"Nah I've heard plenty of harsh remarks about my height and straw princess it's all good"
"It doesn't mean it didn't upset you"
The cup sighed a little.
"Okay yeah..It does hurt a little sometimes"
"Did it hurt this time?"

"Yea it hurt this time..he didn't just make fun of my size and straw though..he laughed and told me I couldn't be the cup that fought the devil and won he told me I was to small and weak..that I was puny...."
"Cuphead.."
You hugged him tighter.
"That's not true"

"But nothing my prince he's just jealous someone as small and as strong as you could be brave enough to even fight the devil he's just jealous because he's the weak coward and he wants to make you feel that way cause it makes him feel better about himself because he doesn't have the bravery to even go near the devil! Your not puny and I love you your straw and your size"
"Thanks princess i needed that..still refuse to accept my height though.."
"Why? I adore your size!"
"Cause everyone towers over me!"
"People tower over me to..everyone's always going to have someone taller then them it's nothing to be ashamed about your size is perfect to me"
"So you don't wish I was taller?"
"Nope your perfect just the way you are sometimes I dont even think I deserve you with how handsome and caring you are!"
The cup smirked and raised an eyebrow up at you.
"Handsome ey?"
You blushed deeply.
"Y-yes handsome your-your very handsome your very h-h-"
"Hot?"
He smirked wider.
You malfunctioned but nodded.
"Still can't get the word out?~ cute....thanks and trust me you deserve me if not more I think your the most adorable and selfless person in all of the inkwell isles"
"Th-thank you but your enough for me your more then enough.. I love you"

The cup moved the eggs in the pan as he was making fried rice with eggs..yum..
"You- You know what I love the most about your size?"
"What?"
"You can be my teddy bear~"
You teased as you lifted the cup up off the floor and cuddled him tightly from behind.
"gah! P-princess-"
The cup dropped the pan on the stove as you hugged him and swayed him side to side in your arms lovingly.
He held your arms with his hands trying to gently remove them from around his chest.
"I-i'm not a teddy bear-"
"Yess you are~ your my teddy bear!"
The cup tried to squirm free but gave up once he knew he was trapped and when you put your face against his..
He actually smiled alot and his eyes relaxed into a dreamy state.
"This actually..feels..kinda nice.."
"Teddy bear~"
The cup looked at you with his large smile and dreamy eyes before kissing your cheek.
"Chm haha!"
The cup looked over at his brother who was laughing at him.
"Mugs this isn't what it looks like! don't tell the others!"
"Oh I will!"
"Mugs no!"
The mug left the room as quickly as he entered the cup tried to squirm again to go after him but again gave up..he looked at you as you had your E/C eyes closed hugging the cup.
"Princess~?"
"Yes my prince?"
"May you please put me down now so I can finish the dinner?..so I can take you out~"
The tone..the way he said it..its like how he saying it the day that he..on you..in the kitchen..you gulped but nodded and obeyed lowering the cup back to the floor.
"Thank you"
"Y-your welcome"
You replied you let go of the cup so he could finish cooking the fried rice but stayed and helped set up the table for the three of you in which the cup and mug had bought another chair and set of cuttlery for you..
Mugman came back out with daisy even though he chuckled under his breath a little.
When the cup brought the food over you all sat down together with daisy eating dirt out of his bowl.
"So cuphead chmha care to explain?"
"It was just a hug!"
"He's a big teddy bear~"
"Princess!-"
"Hahahaha"
"It's okay there's nothing wrong with being a big softy~"
The cup blushed but rubbed the back of his handle.
"Aww brother~"
"Alright stop it both of ya.."
