After your..adventure..yesterday you and the cup had been almost tied together.
He didn't want to leave your side he was head over heels in love with you almost all over again.
You had both gone to a restaurant for dinner as a date..you were just waiting outside as the cup ran in to go to the toilet.
"Stay here I'll be right back princess"
"Okay"
He bolted inside and you waited patiently..looking around nervously..the otherside of you could sense something was wrong..
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary though..not until you felt a strong impact at the back of your head.
Your head hurt but you blacked out and fell to the floor face first..

When I was done with my business on the toilet and had cleaned up I went to the front counter and got my special suprise cake it wasn't much just a little token of my love..I mean it literally says  I love you on it..since when did I become the bootleg Romeo?..when I got the cake I walked out the front only to see..no Y/N..
"Princess?"
I perked up and looked around feeling anxiety take over my body with sweat and tea trickling down the side of my face and onto the cakes box.
"Princess?!....Princess This isn't funny!..PRINCESS!?"
my breathing picked up..I looked frantically left and right and even spun 360..
"Excuse me..sir.."
I looked down at the cat behind me who had approached not long after seeing my distress..she was a mother so I knew she meant no harm with her kitten so close to her..
"Are you looking for the young lady who was standing out here?" She asked
"Yes she's my girlfriend I was just going to the toilet and getting a suprise for her! Where did she go?!" I replied in a panicked tone.
"I don't mean to alarm you but too men a mushroom and a flower snuck up behind her and knocked her out I just rung the police!"
Just like that my whole body disintegrated it was almost as though I ceased to exist without her as if she was the only thing left that kept the good part of me alive..the only thing that kept me tied to the earth..the only thing that kept my soul inside of me..and she was gone..the only good thing I truly had left..was gone..and I..couldn't breath..I nearly dropped the cake as I fell to the floor but the cat was quick to catch it..
I was lucky mugs had gone to the library with Gabriel and planned to meet up otherwise I don't know what I would of done..anyone could have taken me for granted..
"Cuphead! Cups! Are you okay?! Cuphead! What happened-where's
Y/N?-"
And just like that I couldn't hear him anymore..I was hyperventilating for sure.. I couldn't breathe..I saw his mouth moving but couldn't hear the words.. he got worried real quick..the cat spoke to him and passed him the box with the cake inside as he helped me to my feet..my sight was zoning out..was I going to pass out..
"Mugs?..mugs I cant-i can't hear you but-Y/Ns gone-shes been taken-i-i can't-mugs I can't breathe!-i think im-im going to faint!-Mugs!"
Just like that it all went dark..I felt for a few moments that he had caught me but I was out like a light....

When I woke up we were in the apartment..I was on the couch and daisy was nearby whining at me..
"D-daisy?-"
I sat up and held my head.
"Ugh what happened? Mugs?
Y/N..wait..Y/N!!"
I launched off of my feet and automatically went into my room to get my coat and gun..I was going to find her I didn't care if it would take me days months or even years.
"Cuphead your up!..where are you going? you just passed out!" Mugman declared
"Y/NS gone! She was taken! Kidnapped! Adultnapped whatever! I have to find her!"
I announced
"You don't even know who took her or where to start looking brother..you have to take a breath!" Mugman stated trying to de-escalate me.
"No! Y/N told us to do that when it came to her mum and you know what happened to her! It could be hunters I have to search I have no time for plans this is my soulmate this time!"
"Cuphead slow down!"

"No!"
I made my way towards the door to the apartment but mugs moved Infront of me.
"These could be dangerous hunters cups! and we don't have any powers only guns which they probably have to!" Mugman stated
"I don't care! She's my soulmate! you stick to figuring out how we get our powers I find her done deal"
I replied
"It's not a done deal!"
Mugman replied
"Mugs move!"
"No"
"Move!"
"No!"
"You have had no problem avoiding me for gabriel and studying even avoiding the casino some days to the point I'd go for walks to feel better and now. Now that I have someone who isn't leaving me behind you want to stop me?"
I asked
Mugman was taken back..
"What?..cuphead I haven't left you behind!" He replied
"You are always with Gabriel and when your not with him your at the library I never see you! And when I do we're at the cas!"
I replied
"Cuphead that isn't true yes I've been busy but I've been busy trying to get our powers back you know this!" Mugman stated
"You never ask for help! You know I get in the way!"
I replied
"You don't get in the way!..I'm sorry you feel like you are and I'm sorry it feels like I've been avoiding you I haven't been meaning to I just I've been stressed with finding answers! I didn't mean-i'm sorry!..but let me help you..please.." mugman replied
I relaxed and my eyes welled up a bit..he relaxed to..
"Cups.."
"I can't lose her mugs..this is all my fault we brought her..I brought into this.." i sniffled..
"Oh cups..you really really love her don't you?.." he asked
"Shes my soulmate and my whole world how can I not? I love her so so much mugs she makes me laugh when I want to cry and smile when I want to frown.. She's made this world and my life so much happier just by being in it mugs..I can't lose her..I can't survive anymore without her..please i-i can't lose her not her mugs not her.."  i sniffled shaking my head side to side as tears threatened to fall..
Mugman put his hands on my shoulders as a sign of support..
"I'll help you find her you have my word cuphead. You have my word."
All I could do..was nod..
