"This is pointless. You got a light?" Daryl asked Glenn, the two of them walking in circles together through the trees. Glenn handed Daryl his flashlight, the hunter shining it around to get a look at the area.

"Come on." Daryl lead the way, Glenn following nervously for what they might find.

"We're just back to square one." Glenn said, finding that Daryl had led them back to where they began.

"If you're gonna do a thing, you might as well do it right." Daryl gave him a bit of advice. "There's two sets of tracks right here. Shane must've followed him a lot longer than he said." He pointed out, observing the area with a keen hunters eye.

"There's fresh blood on this tree." He moved the light up to shine on it, the red liquid dripping down the Tory tree bark. "There's more tracks. Looks like they're walking in tandem." The duo kept walking, Daryl pausing suddenly causing Glenn to bump into him

"Sorry." Glenn apologized to the older man who was pausing to listen to a creature chittering nearby.

"Yeah, there was a little dust up right here." Daryl pointed out, ignoring Glenn's obvious fear.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean something went down."

"It's getting weird."

"Had a little trouble."  Daryl said before Glenn picked up the blindfold that had been over Randall's eyes back at the farm. Both men spun around at a noise behind them, quickly moving to take cover and hide behind separate trees. Daryl peeked out, seeing a Walker slowly stumbling in the direction. He raised his crossbow but before he could take the shot the Walker was on the ground and a smaller figure stood over it, knife in hand.

"Dad?" I called out, looking around.

"Cassie?" Daryl rushed into my view. "What the hell are you doing out here?" He stressed, pulling me away from the dead Walker just in case.

"We came looking for you"

"We? Cassie who did you come out here with?" Glenn asked, looking around and only seeing us three.

"Carl" I said simply before looking behind me and noticing that Carl was no longer with me. "He was right with me" I looked to my dad, eyes wide with fear and breathing becoming shaky.

"Cas, breathe okay?" Daryl knelt in front of me, hands on my shoulders to ground me. "He couldn't have gone far, but right now we have to get you back to the farm"

"Hey, Daryl" Glenn called, directing his attention to the Walker that lay dead. "This is Randall" he said, my dad standing up properly and going over to look at the body.

"He's got no bites." Daryl inspected the body, not finding anything.

"Yeah, none you can see." Glenn replied, me staying by his side.
