The group listened for a moment hearing something in the distance, something that rang out like a bell. Ricks ears focused on the sound for moment, pointing us in a direction that we all took off running after him.

"What direction?" Shane asked when we came to a slow in the middle of the forest.

"I think that way. I'm pretty sure." Rick pointed out again, still listening to the ringing bell.

"Damn, it's hard to tell out here." Shane complained, looking around as if it would give him direction. I listened closely, closing my eyes while trying to focus and pinpoint a location.

"If we heard them, maybe Sophia did too." Carol suggested with her hope growing once again.

"Someone's ringing those bells, maybe calling others." Glenn added.

"Or signaling they found her." Harley said.

"She could be ringing them herself. Come on." Rick began to lead them off again in the direction he thought it was coming from.

"Wait!" I called them back with a frantic wave of my hand.

"Hey, hold up!" Daryl called everyone back to me, rushing over to see what I called them for.

"They're coming from over there" I pointed in the opposite direction the group was headed.

"Are we really gonna trust her? Her hearing isn't even fully developed yet" Shane pointed out, clearly annoyed the group was listening to a twelve year old girl instead of him or Rick.

"She's says it's that way, it's that way" Daryl stated getting into Shane's face to defend his daughter.

"Good work, Cassie, let's go" Rick broke them up going the direction I pointed. Shane rolled his eyes once my dad turned his back on him, not before catching the proud expression I wore though. Our group followed Rick in the direction I pointed them in, Daryl and Rick keeping me towards the front of the group to help lead them.

"That can't be it. Got no steeple, no bells. Rick." Shane commented when we broke throught the tree line and Rick started forward towards a church. "Shouldn't have listened to the kid" he gave his opinion to which I glared at the back of his head from only a few steps behind him. I however wasn't the only one glaring at Ricks friend, Emily and Daryl unimpressed too.

Without staying to hear his friend out, Rick took off running to the church, the rest of us racing after him.

"Carl, keep up!" I called back to him as I was running right behind Shane and Rick. He glanced back at his mom who nodded that he could go ahead with me, everyone else close behind us and trusting Shane and Rick to keep us out of harm.
