A Note From The Author

Hey ya'll. I'm writing this in April of 2026. In case you didn't know, this fanfiction was originally written in 2021/22. I took a year long hiatus and finished it in late 2023. Needless to say, it's been a while.

I noticed that I still get a lot of notifications from people who are reading this or want to read it. I never thought people would really like my writing like that. But I guess I was wrong haha.

Anyways, I remembered that back when I wrote this I was in uh, some tough mental states. Life was rough, depression was rough, all that jazz. So I read (and wrote) a lot of fanfiction to cope. Sometimes I still get notifications on old comments I left on other fanfictions. And it's just made me think about how much I would've loved to know that it does get better. It really, really does get better. I know a lot of people say that, and it's so much easier said than done, but life truly does get better.

I'm almost done with my second semester of college (if you do the math that means I wrote this in 8th grade. OOF, how time flies.) now, and while yeah, I still have hard days, life still moves forward, and I am so much happier.

I'm a social work major. I want to be a therapist. I want to help people who are like I was. Who think that the only happy ending is death. Who don't believe they're worth getting help. Because they are. You are. Everyone is worth everything.

And I know I'm just another someone on the internet. My voice probably doesn't matter all that much. But if my words can make just one person feel a little less alone, then it's worth it.

You are worth it.

I love you.
