chapter fourteen: Innocent thoughts

"No!" Raysa said firmly.

Alex just smiled and kissed her hand, "You know you want to," he teased while wiggling his eyebrows. His smile widened when he saw the color in Raysa's cheeks turn red. He tugged at her hand with an inviting smile. He knew she'd agree eventually.

She rolled her eyes and looked at him, "What about my clothes?" she said with a frown.

"You can borrow mine," he grinned. They both smiled at each other as they remembered the very same conversation they had years ago.

"And what about underwear?" she asked.

Alex grinned and used a different answer, "Boxers will suit you," he joked.

Raysa laughed and Alex took advantage of that. He pulled her hand and brought her into the water. She screamed and Alex laughed.

She splashed water at him, "You jerk!" she said, but her face wasn't that angry.

"Can you go to deepest part of the pool now, or do you want to cling to me as I force you?" he asked, flipping his soaked blonde hair. Raysa stared at him curiously, "Now that I think about it, why did you always bring me to the deepest part of the pool?"

Alex shrugged, but he was blushing, "Well, I like it when you hug me... And I love the scared expression on your face."

Raysa blushed, "Bully," she muttered.

"Well, can you go there on your own now?" he teased.

"I can," she said. But she was lying, she never learned how to swim...

Alex saw the expression on her face and said, "You don't have to if you can't." But Raysa took it as a challenge. She pouted at him and started swimming towards it. Alex went after her, and when Raysa couldn't touch the floor anymore, she yelped and turned back, slamming right into Alex. The guy chuckled and hugged her. "You'll never change."

Raysa grumbled something underwater but only bubbles came out. Alex looked down at her, his eyes then lowered to her lips. Raysa saw that, she blushed and her heart raced at his intimate gaze. And as expected, he lowered his head and pressed his lips on hers. His own heart was pounding wildly under his chest, and he felt really hot... And when she gave a soft moan, he groaned and pressed her closer to him.

Alex chuckled when she stiffened because he parted her lips with his tongue. But she didn't pull away, not like when she was with Eithan. She surrendered and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her sweetness made Alex feel weird... he couldn't understand it. Never did whenever it concerns Raysa. Unexpectedly, the kiss that deepened, became more gentle and tender... he couldn't help doing it when all she gave him was soft and kind responses.

Raysa had melted in his arms, drowned by his passionate kiss. She didn't really know what to do when people make out. But her body was already responding to him. Her arms slid down to his chest and she felt his thundering heartbeat. Then her hands went up to his face, cupping his cheeks as she went with her instinct and copied the way he kissed her.

AThis time it was Alex who was swept away by her, he couldn't help feeling overwhelmed by her sudden response. This time, she was kissing him back but she's using his own ways. He felt like his heart would jump out of his chest. His hand slid down her back and he felt her shudder. He chuckled.

When they finally broke apart, they were gasping for air and then Alex brought her back to where her feet can touch the floor. Raysa didn't know how to meet his eyes again after what happened. It was the same when he kissed her on his bed.

"You just have to look at me you know," Alex said.

"It's just... well... I really..." Raysa really didn't know what to say.
