Standing on the stage, looking as godly as ever and somehow even more so because he was wearing a suit, his tie undone, his shirt had three buttons open, and his cocky smile in place. Every single person had their eyes bugging out or their jaws dropping at the sight of him with a guitar casually slung over his shoulder. His brown-dyed hair all messy and adorable, making him look sexy and cute at the same time, his deep dark blue eyes focusing on one person only, and that was his girlfriend.
She looked heavenly, he thought. Like an angel sent from heaven. She looked like she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her clear sky blue eyes were wide with disbelief. She took one hesitant step toward him, and he smiled affectionately at her adorable sight.
Suddenly she broke into a run and he opened his arms for her.
But he didn't receive the welcoming embrace that he thought he would.
Raysa hit him in the face with almost as much strength she could muster.
Staggering back he stared at Raysa, stunned.
"What was that for?" he asked as he rubbed his cheek.
She shrugged, "I just really needed to hit you."
He sighed, "You said if I got back early, you'd kiss me, not hit me."
"We'll get to that after the show," Raysa laughed touching his cheek gently. Alex turned his face in her hand, letting his lips touch her palm. He loved the soft feel of her, and he took pleasure in her reaction, such as the one where she quickly drew back her hand while blushing madly.
He chuckled, "So, are we gonna do this or what? Because if you ask me, I'd rather just go home and kiss you all night..."
Her blush turned into a darker shade of red, going all the way to her ears.
"Shut up," she grumbled.
"Excuse me," said a voice. It was only then that Alex realized that the crowd had been listening to their little conversation. He glared at them and it brought silence to the entire auditorium. Biting back a smirk he turned to look at the teacher approaching them. "What?"
"What do you mean what? Are you out of your mind? Where the hell did that helicopter come from and why in the world were you in it!?" she exclaimed vehemently.
Alex recognized her as Mrs. Kendall. Shrugging nonchalantly he said, "It was my only ride home."
Mrs. Kendall was about to launch into some lecture about Alex' outrageous arrival, but Raysa didn't give her a chance. "Ma'am, can we resume the show? I really would like to get on with my number."
Mrs. Kendall looked at her incredulously. "Re-resume the..."
"Guys, can you give us a hand?" Alex said, lazily glancing up at his friends.
"Hi Alex, nice of you to drop by," said a sarcastic Kayla.
"What's the password!?" Ryan bellowed. "Ow! Stop hitting me Kayla!"
"If you stop being an idiot I would," she replied.
Their friends hurried down, and Alex' guitar was plugged in and ready to go."About time," he grumbled without a word of thanks.
"Hurry up already!" someone yelled in the crowd. Raysa suddenly saw someone being hurtled toward her. Alex appeared in front of her, catching the soda can reflexively. His face went hard and cold, his eyes menacing and dangerous. He aimed his paralyzing gaze at the girl who threw the soda can, and he knew immediately that she was one of those girls who dared lay a finger on his Raysa. Alex saw the girl flinch. Tossing the can aside he smiled scarily and said with savage politeness, "If anyone throws anything at us again, I'll make sure you won't be able to use your arms ever a---"
