Hana, Ryan, and Kayla sat at their usual table, all three of them focused on their friend who sat quietly while staring at her phone, lost in thought. “Raysa… is Alex okay?” Kayla asked carefully. Raysa didn’t answer, she was so absorbed in her thoughts that her friends called out to her multiple times before they finally got her attention. “What?” she asked startled.

“Is Alex okay?” Kayla asked again.

“What? Oh, yeah. He’s…fine,” she said.

“Are you okay?” Hana asked worriedly. Raysa mentally shook herself and smiled at her friends, “I’m fine guys… I was doing a little thinking.”

“Want my sundae?” asked Ryan.

Raysa grinned, “No thank you Ryan.”

It’s been two hours since Alex had called her. Judging by the tone in his voice, he seemed to be unharmed, Raysa thought. Though he was obviously angry and annoyed as to where he was, he sounded most sorry and regretful on the phone. Raysa giggled, earning her three concerned looks from her friends. He must’ve really wanted to perform with her in the talent show, which was, by the way, fast approaching. Their song was complete, and Raysa was now mastering the lyrics. She was having trouble with the guitar. She’d learned how to play really well over the years, thinking of her time with little Alex as her drive to improve. But still she was nowhere near his ability to bring life to the music while playing the instrument. She knew the chords of course, but her strumming version of it was too plain and simple, she thought.

She toyed with her phone, took some fries from her untouched plate and thoughtfully ate in silence. She decided that, since her beloved Alex definitely can’t make it, she’ll have to do her utmost best to perform in a level which he can be proud of her once he returns. Now that that was decided, she smiled with her newly found determination and goal.

Raysa was going to skip the rest of her classes so that she can go to Alex’ house, borrow some equipment, then go home to practice. As she happily passed by the empty corridor, Someone grabbed her wrist, then shoved her shoulders against the wall causing her to gasp in pain. She hit her head when she was violently shoved and her blurry vision saw a guy she didn’t know. She saw him smile, “Sorry cupcake, but I’ll have to do this to get my money,” he murmured to himself before bringing his lips to hers and kissing her violently. She tried to push him away, tried with all her might. But the guy was strong, he chuckled and shoved her again he took her wrists in one hand and had the other slipping inside her shirt, making Raysa’s heart pound with fear and alarm. She squirmed her head, trying to break free from the kiss, but the only good thing that brought was that his hand stopped it’s advance… but it ran through her hair and held a lock of it, forcing her mouth back to his and imprisoning her. Raysa cried, tears streaming down her soft cheeks. Why was this happening? She thought desperately.

The guy tasted of alcohol. Raysa couldn’t scream as she was roughly kissed and touched disgustingly. The bastard thought she was liking it and forcefully slipped his tongue in, invading her mouth and started grinding himself on her.

Raysa wanted to KILL the man.

“HEY!!!”

The guy froze, letting go of Raysa and dropping her on the floor. He turned at the source of the voice at the same time a broken Raysa did.

There stood a girl with long brown hair and big blue eyes filled with anger at the same time fear. “Get away from her!” she ordered.

“What are you gonna do brat? Throw your book at me?” the man mocked.

And she did throw her book at him. It hit him right in his ugly face.

“You b*tch!” he growled.
