Chapter 9

Broduey's POV

I walked into the library scanning the shelves of books . I needed to find a book called :"The Turn Of The Screw" , The English teacher said that we all had to read a book and write a report about it , so after doing some research online I chose to go with this one . It's basically a story about a live-in tutor , you know how back then , rich kids were homeschooled and they had like one teacher for all the subjects and she would live with them and usually she'd be like a nanny and stuff , I think they used to call them governesses . So this girl gets  to be a governess  and she gets attached to the kids she works with but then it turns out that there are  ghosts in the house and so she needs to protect them and things turn ugly especially with the boy .

However what caught my eye wasn't a book , it was my sister and her boyfriend sitting on the couch . Well this is going to be awkward . why ? well , almost a week ago I walked in on them doing the nasty in the art class , I went there to get my phone and instead got an  image I wish I could delete .

"Uhm hey Broduey ." greeted Raini looking up from her book , however Jake was frozen . His head was still in his magazine but I could tell he wasn't reading .

"Uh hey ...."I didn't know what to say until a brilliant question came up to mind "I'm looking for a book , it's called "The Turn Of The Screw " have you by any chance seen it ?" ok so maybe it's not that brilliant but at least it's a subject changer or starter  . you know what ? whatever !

"Uh , yea here ." she said handing me  the book she was reading .

"No you don't have to give me yours ."

"It's ok I'll find another copy . Jake'll help me ." she smiled .

"yea I bet he will ." He swallowed hard as I said that and tensed up even more if  that was possible .

"Broduey !" exclaimed Raini .

Does it make me a bad person if I don't like the idea  of my 14 year old sister having sex ? I don't think so . In fact I think I'm being very reasonable . I mean , at least  I didn't choke him to death . ..... yet ....

"What ?" I asked innocently .

"You're being mean !" she complained .

"Well you're being whore !" I shot back and instantly regretted it . ok so maybe I'm not so reasonable .

Jake's eyes shot up from his magazine for the first time and he glared at me in a way that could only mean that if Raini wasn't here he'd be slitting my throat by now . And I can't say I don't deserve at least some punishment for what I just said to my baby sister .

Raini's eyes got all teary , and her lower lip started quivering . That's how she looked when we were little and she would sneak into my room after having a nightmare and I'd let her sleep in my bed for the night . It's like I just gave her a nightmare .
