Kristen's POV

I looked over at my brother hearing a shifting noise. "Levi?" I asked. He had woken up a few times but he has a pretty bad concussion.

"K-Krisss-ten?" He slurred.

"Are you feeling okay? Any pain?" I asked him, releasing his hand and pressing the call button.

"My h-h-head hurts," he whined as the nurse walked in.

"Ahh, I see you're awake. Do you remember what happened?" She asked him as he seemed more awake compared to the past times.

"Y-yeah," he slurred before grabbing his head. I reached out and took his hand.

"What happened?" The nurse and I said at the same time.

"I was in the shower, I think I had a panic attack and slipped." He said looking confused.

"Yes, that's right, do you know what could have caused this panic attack?" She asked him.

"I-I don't know," he cried grabbing his head in a panicked state.

"Can we be alone for a few minutes?" I asked the nurse and she nodded.

"He might experience head aches, confusion, and dizziness or even passing out over the next few days because of the concussion. The doctor will be in soon to finish looking him over before he is discharged," she announced to us and walked away.

"Hey, it's okay. You're safe. Can you tell me what happened?" I asked Levi squeezing his hand.

"N-N-N-Nathan dad called me, said Nathan was in h-h-hospital," he stumbled to put sentences together and was frustrated. I was trying my hardest to be there for him, Anna went home to rest. I couldn't sleep, I didn't want him to wake up alone. I hadn't slept in a while and it was taking a tole on me.

"His dad? Why is he here?" I asked as Levi struggled to remember.

"Ahh," he said figuring out what he was going to say. "Nathan and I got into a fight a while ago. I went out to meet him in the park and I got mad at him and left. Apparently he was crossing the street and got hit by a car." He stopped suddenly and looked around confused. "Where am I" he asked me. He began upset and I gave him a second to calm down and remember.

"Right uhh, He keeps his phone unlocked. The person called his last contact, his dad," Levi finished.

"Was he previously talking to his dad, what was that about?" I asked and Levi nodded.

"Yeah, they recently got in touch." He told me right had Anna walked in.

"Levi! Your awake!" She exclaimed then put on a serious face. "Why didn't anyone tell me?" She asked and I felt guilty.

"I was worried and forgot, plus you were sleeping, I didn't want to wake you up." I said making an excuse.

"Sure, it's fine. How're you feeling, what did the doctor say?" She asked us both. "He has a concussion, he might experienced head aches, confusion, and dizziness or even passing out over the next few weeks while he recovers," I announced repeating what the nurse said.

Right then as if on cue the doctor came in, went over a few things, then Anna signed the paperwork. Once we arrived home I put Levi to bed and came out to the living room and pulled out my phone. I had a bunch of missed texts from Trista and immediately called her.

"Trista, what's going on?" I asked as she picked up the phone.

"What's going on with you. Your not answering, are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine, it was Levi. He found out Nathan was in the hospital, passed out from a panic attack in the shower, and has a concussion," I announced and she gasped.

"But he is okay right?" She asked.

"Yeah he is resting now. Now what is going on with you? I didn't read any of your messages." I said

"Can you come over in around an hour? I'll tell you then." I nodded then remembered she couldn't see me

"Yep, see you then." I said setting an alarm and hanging up.

As I stood up a wave of nausea hit me like bricks. I sat back down and put my feet up on the couch, laying down and scrolling on my phone. I felt the dizziness take over no matter how hard I tried to stay awake. I gave in to the darkness and hoped I would make it to Trista's.

"—sten? Kris!" A voice called out and I slowly opened my eyes. My head ached and my vision was blurred.

"Hmmm," I groaned to see Anna kneeled beside me.

"You okay? We're you asleep or..." she trailed off and I nodded at the second option.

"Okay, are you okay?"

"Yeah, will you grab my medicine from the kitchen?" She nodded standing up while I checked the time. 20 more minutes. I took my medicine, slowly getting up and my headache started to fade.

When my alarm went off I told Anna where I was going and headed to Trista's. When I arrived the door was unlocked so I walked in. "Hello? Trista?" I hollered into the seemingly empty house. "Heather?" I yelled.

"Sorry Kris, didn't hear you, in here!" Trista hollered from her room. "Sorry I didn't hear you come in," she ran up to me and gave me a hug.

"So what's up?" I asked but before she could tell me I heard rabid breathing. "Are you okay?" I asked as she began to sway. I put my arms on her waist to steady her

"Trista, answer me!" I shook her lightly. Her face was pale, ghostly. She had a panicked expression.

"D-don't call for an ambulance, get my m—," she suddenly collapsed into my arms. I slowly lowered her to the floor, raising her legs above her head.

I ran out of the room, "Mrs. Greenn! Heather!" I hollered out.

"Kristen, what's wrong?" She said coming up the stairs.

"I-i-it's Trista, she fainted!" I said panicked. Heather continued walking up the stairs, how could she be so calm at a time like this. I went back over to Trista and ran my hand through her hair.

"She's going to be okay," Heather reassured me checking a device on her arm. "What's going on?" I asked.

"It's not my place to tell sweetie," Heather smiled softly. After a few minutes Trista began to stir, "Are you awake love?" Heather asked. "Can you go grab her some water please?" Heather asked and I ran out of the room.

I came back with the water and Trista was sitting up eating some candy. "I'm going to leave you guys alone," Heather said walking out of the room. I set the water in front of Trista and sat beside her.

"What was that!" I asked her trying to be as calm as possible.

"Why don't I start from the beginning," she said

"It all started last week, I've been getting headaches and dizzy spells. That's the doctors appointment I was going to when I passed out in my room. When we got there I passed out again and was taken to the hospital. They are monitoring my blood pressure right now for this week because my blood pressure was lower than average while I was there." She finished and I sat there shocked.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked sadly.

"I was scared, I didn't know I-I didn't K-know," I shushed her and pulled her into a hug.

"It's okay, it's okay," I embraced her while she cried into my chest.

It was getting late and I need to get back to Levi, "Tris, I have to go. Thanks for telling me, I love  you, you know that. You can tell me anything." I told her whilst grabbing my stuff.

"Love you, see you tomorrow!" She hollered as I went out the door waving goodbye.
