Kristen's POV
As I entered the school building I felt odd. I wandered into my first class and took my seat. "Hey," Trista called sitting down beside me.
"Sup, where's Emy?" I asked that right as Emy entered the room. We exchanged glances and giggled.
"Didn't you go out with Will this weekend?" Trista asked Emy. (Will is the new student Emy had a crush on, just for the people who might not have remembered).
"Yes, it was awesome," She said
I tasted something odd in my mouth. I had a feeling I knew what was coming. Luckily class had started quickly. I sat in my chair feeling the worst coming. The teacher droned on and on about something but I had stopped listening. I tried to will the feeling to go away but nothing was working. I felt dizzy for no reason and a metallic taste filled my mouth. I nudged Trista's arm as my world faded into white.

I felt light enter my eyes slowly. Looking around I noticed nothing had happened. Trista gave me a worried glance and I reassured her. The bell rang and I felt off.
"Ready?" Trista asked and I nodded slowly. I stood up and we walked to our next class. I had an incredibly large headache. I stumbled towards my desk clumsily and avoided talking. I didn't want anyone to know what had happened. I didn't want to risk going to see another doctor.
The truth I I've been having absence seizures for a while now but nobody's noticed. After a few dreadful hours, it was lunch time. My appetite was gone and I just wanted to go home and take a long nap. My body ached, I felt dizzy and weak. As we got in line my mind went blank.
I hurried to get out of the lunch line. I was almost to our table when a odd, familiar taste appeared in my mouth. "Kris?" Trista called out but her voice was far away. The world started to spin, I was swaying on my feet slightly. The ground rushed to meet me and everything went white.

Trista's POV
"Kris?" I called out. Her eyes were glossy and she swayed on her feet. I watched helplessly as she fell to the ground and she began shaking. Teachers ran over and I heard them yelling and trying to get kids to move away. I rolled her to her side and whispered calmly into her ear. I wish I could say I was calm. I just wanted it to stop, people were screaming, time was flashing by. Before I knew it an ambulance was being called as she passed the 5 minute mark. I begged to be allowed in the ambulance with her but I had no luck. I trudged to my next class awaiting the final bell.
Kristen's POV
"No, no but he, ok, when can we--, ok," I heard a distant conversation and tried to open my eyes. A blurry figure appeared beside me. "Kris?" A voice called, I recognized it but I couldn't figure out who it belonged to. My vision cleared and I tried to sit up, "Hey, hey, stay down," the person exclaimed. There was a pounding in the back of my head and a ringing that lingered in my ears.
"I'm going to get the doctor," the voice said. I couldn't think straight, my head ached.
"Kristen, good to see you're awake! Do you remember what happened?" A new voice entered the room, I assumed it was the doctor.
"I..." I felt like I knew what was going on. Like it had happened before.
"It's okay, I'm sure your confused. You had a seizure at school and it went for pretty long time," the doctor announced. I knew that wasn't good.
