Emy's POV
A loud beep woke me up in the middle of the night. I woke up feeling dizzy and I was drenched in sweat. I felt weak as I checked my blood sugar. 54
and going down, 'great' I thought sighing heavily. My legs shook as I made my way towards the kitchen.I grabbed a juice box from the fridge and collapsed against the wall. I was trying to stay awake as I brought a shaking juice box to my mouth and sipped. After drinking the juice I went back to my room.
I slipped under the covers and waited. Once my blood sugar came back to normal I fell asleep.

Another beep woke me up and this time it was very loud. I was just as sweaty and knew I wasn't going to make it to the kitchen. I checked the time and it was 6am. "Mom?" I tried to yell but it came out as more of a whisper.
I scanned my shaky arm over the bedside table and grabbed my phone. I carefully dialed my mothers number. It rang twice before she answered. "Hello?" My mother's voice said through the phone.
"Mom...low" was all I could get out before I dropped the phone.
In a few seconds she came through the door, Reagan close behind her. My mom helped me stand but once we were in the kitchen my knees buckled. She lifted me onto a chair and held the juice box as I drank. Reagan supported me in the chair as my mom pricked my finger.
"35," she announced slowly and I was quickly lifted to the car. My mom sped towards the hospital. Reagan ran her hand through my hair as I laid across the backseat. The world around me began to fade and I closed my eyes willing the headache away. Reagan was speaking into my ear asking me questions. I tried to stay wake but I couldn't fight it anymore and gave in to the darkness.
Reagan's POV
As I got ready for school I heard my mom rushing into Emy's room. I quickly followed her and what I saw was not pretty. Emy was pale and drenched in sweat. I helped lift her to her feet and we slowly walked her to the kitchen. After a few steps she fell to the ground.
I supported her back as my mom checked her blood sugar. "35," she said and I looked at her, panic settling in. We moved quickly, knowing how serious this was. I climbed into the back seat and rested her head in against my chest. My mother sped to the hospital and I rubbed circles on her back.
She was struggling to stay awake. "You're doing great, try and stay awake," I whispered softly to her. Emy's eyes were glazed over and I tried to get her to talk to me but there was no response. Her head fell limp into my chest suddenly. "Mom, are we almost there?" I said breathing in a shaky breath.
I checked her blood sugar again quickly and saw that it was only getting worse. "Almost," she said before we pulled in. I put one arm under her knees and the other around her back. Slowly, I lifted her into my arms. I pulled her close towards my chest and my mom ran ahead opening doors.
"Help, we need a doctor. My daughter has diabetes, she's fainted and is at 30 going down last time we checked," my mom said nervously.
"Ok, have you given her anything to try and bring it up?" The nurse asked us as we were rushed to a room.
"Yes," she said and the nurse nodded as my mom explained what we had given her.
I laid my sister down on the bed provided. We we're forced out of the room as they worked to treat her.
In about half an hour we were allowed to see her. My mom cleared with the school why we wouldn't be there and she seemed to be doing much better. Her blood sugar was back to a semi normal level.
"How're you feeling Em? Gave us quite as scare," my mom said laughing a bit.
"Feeling a bit better now," she said as I ran my hand through her hand. She was hooked up to many machines and was almost as white as the sheets. I just hoped she would feel better.
Emy's POV
I woke up in a strange bed, I was in the hospital again. My mom held my hand and Regan was running her hand through my hair. "How're you feeling Em? Gave us quite scare," My mother asked chuckling nervously.
"Feeling a bit better now," I lied and faked a smile. I wasn't sure why but I felt weak still, I was dizzy and tired. I just wanted to go home though.
After a few hours I was cleared to go. I felt weak still and a bit dizzy but other than that I was fine. I stumbled through the parking lot and towards the car. "Ready?" My mother questioned and both Reagan and I nodded. As we made our way home in silence I fell into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up with a start I viewed the clock beside my bed, 8:30 pm. I jumped up after realizing that I'd slept through the whole day. I felt much better though and went downstairs to eat dinner.
"Your awake! Finally," a voice said from the kitchen. Assuming it was my sister I sat down, when I looked up I was shocked to see who was there.
"Trista, Kristen, what are you doing here?" I asked them excitedly.
"Your mom told us what had happened and we came to see how you were doing."
"Felling much better," I announced. "So what's going on with you guys?" I asked excited to catch up on what I've missed that day.
"Not to much, Levi's feeling better now and went back to school today." I noticed she nudged Trista and gave her a look.
"I went to the doctor, she told me what was wrong," she said slowly and I nodded, not wanting to pry for the information.
"I have Chronic Low Blood Pressure," she said slowly, pronouncing the words. I wasn't sure what to say. I nodded and smiled softly
"We're here for you all the way," I said nodding my head to Kristen.
Kristen snapped out of whatever trance she was in "Yeah, here for you all the way," she said smiling.

After a few hours of hanging out I was feeling drained still. I walked Kristen and Trista to the door and they left for their houses. I trudged back to my room and collapsed onto my bed. I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow.
