Auntie Abby and Little Ali

Celia!

Alison's Pov:
"Celia is that your real name?" the police
officer asks but i still don't know what to say. i begin to nod. "Okay honey what happened?" the police officer asks I look at him puzzled "Did you fall off a dresser " he asks im a bad liar i think to myself. Im so uncomfortable with these questions i know that if i answer them correctly something bad may happen. But i know that if i answer wrong then i may never seen auntie again. I decided it may just be best to answer them correctly. My head is throbbing and i feel sick. "Celia! " the police officer says "Stay with me! " he  adds "Um.. no i-i didn't " i say quietly "Okay sweetheart what happened then" he asks "Um... mommy didn't feed me and-" i stop as i see mom come walking in the room "Celia! Mommy loves you don't listen to these people " i can tell something is wrong with her "Maam get out " the police says the other officer leads mom out of the room "Continue sweetie " the other police officer says "Mommy had me against the wall and and " i get scared i feel the pukey feeling in my stomach my heart is racing and i feel like i can't breathe "Honey honey" the nurse says holding my hand she begins to rub the the middle of it like my auntie does and it reminds me to calm down
Abby's pov:
They begin to sew maddie's arm up but the second the needle goes in she screams in pain and hids her face "baby girl " i say rubbing her back "It's okay honey " i try and calm her down "It hurts " she says in tears "Okay honey but we need to get this fixed" i say as i suddenly watch her eyes rolls back in her head and her body fall in my arms like dead weight "Maddie!" i yell scared to death "Maddie " i say with a blood curtling scream as nurses come rushing in
Alison's pov:
"it's okay honey " the nurse says "please continue celia" the police officer says as the nurse rubs my back "Um she said we had to go and then umm she took me out of the t - and then she grabbed me and i hit the door and the room went black " i say honestly my stomach hurts like i made the worst decision of my life. "Are the burises from mom to? " he asks i nod "Okay so this is clearly abuse" the nurse says "yes we need to arrest the mother " the police officer says my head pain begins to be too much and it begins to knock me out again. i lay back and the room goes black again.
Abby's pov:
The nurses come rushing in as maddie begins to move. Her arms begin jerking and her body begins convulsing but it stops quick. I know she's seizing because my dad used to have seizures with his cancer all the time. I look her her hoping its over as she lays in my arms still. The nurses take her out of my arms and puts her on a bed. They begin putting a needle in her arm and administering a blood transfusion. She lays there still as my heart beat feels like someone else can hear it from how loud it is in my ears. "she's gonna be okay she was extremely low on blood thats why she started seizing" the doctor says i nod "She should wake up any second" the doctor says They keep sewing her arms shut as she lays there unconscious. All of a sudden I get a phone call from Anna. "Hello? Im kinda in the middle of-" i say but im interrupted "Kristen got arrested a few hours ago" anna says "how do you know? " i say in disbelief "Well your mom called and asked if there was anything i can do because she got arrested for child abuse " anna says my heart goes in my stomach "Where's alison? can i talk to her?" i begin to ask "Well the problem is we don't where she is or what happened to her" she says "Mom didn't tell you where she was! " i start to get mad as i see maddie open her eyes. "I gotta go! find her! "i say hanging up
Alison's Pov:
i wake up once again. This time with five police officers in my room i get scared. "Celia" the nurse says "Im glad your awake again honey" she adds i don't feel better though i feel nauseous and tired and like my head is going to explode. I need my auntie. "Honey this is a social worker" she says referring to a lady with a bright yellow button down dress on with long brown hair thats not completely curled "Her name is Ashley and she is going to talk to you" she says i get nervous and shy with all the people around "I think she's nervous can you guys step out " ashley says to the police officers they nod and file out of the room "Celia honey nice to me you" she says she seems really nice "I'm Ashley I just want to talk to you about some things " she says to me i nod "Okay good first question what is your name honey" she asks "umm " i get worried "Celia I need you to tell me so i can have someone take you home. " she says gently "Wheres mom? " i ask trying to make sure im safe "mom might be away for a while. She did a bad thing " she says all of a sudden i feel like the giant elephant that has been on my chest since she took me from auntie has been lifted. "Your Safe" she says calming me i nod i am safe. "Is celia your name? " she asks gently
Abby's Pov:
"Hey maddie girl" i say as she looks at me "What happened? " she asks very confused "You um passed out honey " i say gently "Passed out? " she asks "Yeah you fell asleep in my arms unexpectedly basically " i try to explain "oh. " she says shes so confused "How are you feeling? " i ask "Im okay" she says more alert "good " i say The doctor comes in to see maddie shortly after "hey darling how are you feeling " he says "Good " she answers "Okay well if that is the case you guys are free to go. The bandage on her stitches needs to be warn whenever she's not going to be sleeping. The stitches need to be cleaned and disinfected with a bandage change atleast twice a day to keep it clean " he says i nod "If it gets infected she'll need to come back. If she seizing or passes out immediately call 911 because that will mean her hemoglobin is way too low and can cause her body to start shutting down" he adds i nod "How about dance? She is a competitive dancer " i ask "she can dance as long as she feels up to it " he says "Okay thank you doctor" i say maddie clings to me as i help her up and out of the hospital. I take her into the car when i get another call from anna I don't pick up even though im dying to. I get maddie back to the competition completely asleep. She must be exhausted from all the crying. I hand her off to melissa "What happened? " she asks "Listen Ill give you the run down later i need to call anna she might have something on alison " i say rushing out of the room to call anna.
Alison's pov:
I finally shake my head at the social worker "Your name isn't celia? " she asks again i shake my head "Why did you tell us that was your name? " the nurse asks "Mom said i had to" i tell the truth "What is your name? " she asks "Awlison" i say "Oh thats a pretty name " the nurse says "Alison do you have anyone who takes care of you? " she asks i nod "my auntie did until my mom took me" i tell them "Your mom took you! " the police officer in the room says in shock "Yeah on christmas " i say sad "So live with your auntie?" he asks i nod "What is your aunties name? " he asks "her name is abby" i tell him "Do you know where you live? " he asks i shake my head "thats okay" he says at this point my head is pounding so i lay back.
Abby's Pov:
"Hey Anna " i say as i answer the phone "Hi Abby kristen refuses to tell us where alison is" she says "Well can't you guys offer her a plea" i ask "We have" she says "So Alison could be tied up somewhere with no way out or dead and no one knows " i say "I know its fustrating abby but what we do know is she got arrested in ohio so she has to be in ohio" she says "Okay well im in virginia right now for a dance competition. If you get any word please call me. " i tell her "Of course abby" she says
Alison's pov:
"Alison what else can you tell us about abby? " the police officer says "She has a dance studio" i say trying to be helpful. "But you don't know where " he asks i shake my head im sad i don't know where "am i ever gonna see my auntie again " i ask innocently "Honey im trying to figure out who she is so i can send you home to her " the police officer says just then the nurse puts on the tv. As shes flipping through the channels which is hurting my head i see auntie yelling at one of the moms on tv. "Thats her!" i yell the nurse stops in her tracks and leaves the tv on "Abby lee? " the police office says confused "Yes Auntie abby! " i say "are you sure " he asks i nod "Alison this is a women on tv. Are you sure" he asks unbelieving "yes that's her " i say sad that he doesn't believe me "Okay well try it. " he says
Abby's pov:
After the competition is over and we find out maddie won and the group didn't it's time to pack up and head to pittsburgh to go home. We get the kids loaded up in the bus. Maddie falls asleep almost immediately from the day she had. The kids are so quiet you can hear a pin drop. I drift to sleep thinking of alison. Eventually we get home and i open my eyes. The kids leave and it's extremely late. I decided to go inside the studio because i wanna hear alison's voice message once more. I miss that little voice. "You have one new voice message "the operator says i press the one button to hear the voice message "Hello Ms. Miller this is Officer Scalton calling from the Dayton Children Hospital in Dayton Ohio. I have a little girl here says she is your niece. If this is the case please call me back. If not I am very sorry to bother you with this call she was very adamant about you being her aunt." Officer Scalton says on the voice message. I could cry. I immediately hit the redial button and anxiously wait for someone to pick up "Dayton Police department how may i direct your call? " some lady voice on the other end says "Um Hi im abby lee miller and I am calling to speak to Officer Scalton" i say eagerly "In regards to what maam " she asks rudely "He has my niece " i say "Okay one moment maam " she says transfering me i wait anxiously "Hello Officer Scalton speaking " he says "Hi this is abby " i say "Oh yeah that little girl kept saying she was your niece sorry to bother you. We gave her to her grandma she should be fine now." he says nonchalantly "What! I am her aunt! I want her where did you send her!" i say angry
