Austin's POV
Eric and I go outside and he pulls the hose out. Then he gets soap out and the ladies are already out on their front porches with a book. I giggle and I look at Eric and he smirks. I say just a little loudly "damn, the view is much better over here." Eric laughs saying "I love you." I say "I love you too." The women come over and sit on the porch steps with me.One says "I'm gonna preface and say, you being his boyfriend is not stopping me." I chuckle saying "that's fine. He knows who he belongs to." They all giggle and one says "he's just so yummy." Another one of the five women say "you can wash my car too, sweetheart." They all giggle and Eric smiles saying "how's knitting your Christmas stockings, Sharon?" She smiles saying "good, dear. They're coming along nicely. How's that beach body coming along?" Eric smirks saying "oh I don't know."
I chuckle saying "he's being shy" and Eric says "I'm not having that great of a day, ladies, as of now." One says "what's wrong, dear?" Eric says "well, my aunt wasn't that nice earlier. I thought she wouldn't tell me how I should think about getting married soon to a nice girl. She also said to let her know when I meet a nice girl when I go back to school. I know you lot are just having good fun and I completely understand that. If anything, Austin finds it amusing but I can't have my aunt pretending he doesn't exist when he's right there. I almost killed her. I'm just stressed, don't listen to me."
Sharon says "Eric, there's a difference between us and her. We're old and don't get out much but she's choosing to be disrespectful to the both of you and that's not ok." I say "she's right, Eric. We understand you all are just fooling around. If I thought you were serious, I wouldn't let him leave the house." We all chuckle and one of the ladies say "it's always the best time when he comes to town." Eric says "I really work out hard in between visits just for you, ladies."
I smile and we're all just giggling about Eric. He starts hosing down the truck and takes his shirt off after he does that. He comes over and tosses it to me then goes back to scrubbing the truck down with soap. I say "you're so hot" making Eric smile and he keeps doing his thing. Sharon says "how's Leo, Eric?" Eric says "he's alright. Still doing well for himself and Emily. Leo still worries too much about wanting his daughter to have her mother in her life. Emily is surrounded by women that want to take care of her and teach her things that Leo couldn't comprehend. Leo has done as much as he can now and that's good but when she's a teenager and having a terrible breakup, Leo is not made to handle that."
Sharon says "dads can do a lot for their daughters but there are just a few things that they can't do for them. My dad, bless his heart, would've just grabbed his shot gun and gone to my ex boyfriends house. My mom hugged me and told me all men suck until I had a crush on another one then we'd gossip about it like she was a teenage girl." I chuckle saying "my moms like that too" us chuckling.
Eric says "what do you say to your mom about me?" I say "she just likes to know what you're like and stuff like that. Nothing to worry about." I mumble "he doesn't want to know what I tell my mom" us all chuckling. Eric says "all I can say is that Leo shouldn't be worrying as much as he is." One of the women say "he's a very accomplished and well rounded man, he has nothing to worry about." Eric comes over to me and stands in front of me with his hands on his hips.
I say "hi" and he offers me a hand saying "wanna go inside?" I say "this isn't an invitation for anything, right?" Eric says "I wish, but no" taking my hand and pulling me up. We go inside and he goes to dry off and the ladies sit with me at the table. Paul says "hey, ladies" and they all say their hellos. I smile and Eric comes back to me to grab his shirt. He puts his shirt on and says "I love you" and I say "I'd love you more if you left your shirt off."
Eric chuckles saying "whatever" and I smile saying "I love you." He kisses my head and massages my shoulder. I say "what do we want to do with the rest of our week?" Eric says "I'm thinking we could go out like for real." He gets a glass of water and Paul goes outside. I say "yeah?" He says "yeah, I have an idea" leaning down to kiss my neck. He just rubs my shoulder and the ladies eventually go home.
I smile and Eric leans down to kiss me as he runs his fingers up and down my arm. I smile and I look at him saying "what's your idea?" Eric says "I'll tell you later" combing his fingers through my hair. I say "mmm, strip club? Back of a movie theatre?" Eric smirks saying "you're hot" quietly and he kisses my neck from behind me. Angela comes out here saying "you guys can come hang out with us or keep being weird. Your choice." I chuckle saying "let's go" and Eric and I go into the living room.
I sit on the couch near the arm and he lays down, his head in my lap. Eric smiles real big at me and I rub his chest boredly. Angela says "Eric, wanna play chess? Grandpa carved pieces and made a board for us to use while we're here." I say "I think he's in la la land right now" chuckling and I tap his chest. Eric says "hm?" I say "Angela wants to play chess with you." Eric says "I haven't played chess with someone in so long. Let's do it" smiling and he goes out to the kitchen table again.
Angela gets the board out and they stare at the board. Eric says "you can go first" quietly and Angela does her move. Eric says "every time. The most basic move you pull the Queens Gambit. I see where you're going." Angela giggles saying "learn to counter it then maybe I'll switch it up." Eric says "I've done my research, let's see if I remember what I learned several months ago" rotating his head to loosen his neck.
