Austin's POV
Four years later
"Welcome to my masterclass! How many of you have hip hop experience? I'm not mad, just a quick poll." A few raise their hands and I say "alright, we're gonna warm up then we'll get into a combo after we stretch. Sound good?" They all nod and I say "amazing" and I start the warm up to an upbeat song these kids will probably know. I really just aged myself. Angelina walks in saying "hey, Austin!" I say "hey, sweetheart" and she says "my boyfriends coming to pick me up what do you think?" I look over saying "you look good."

She says "all I get is good?! This is a big deal, Austin." I say "what are you doing for your date?" Angelina says "he said it was a surprise" and I say "it better be good then. You look good for anything, you gotta go talk to Eric before your date." She says "come on, Austin. He's scary." I say "nope, go talk to him." She says "ugh fine."

Angelina's POV
I march out of the room and I sigh saying "Eric is scary" chuckling to myself. I knock out on his office door and he says "come in" and I go in and sit in front of his desk. I say "so big shot boss of this place, your husband told me to talk to you." Eric says "what about?" I say "I'm going on a date with a guy and he told me to talk to you." Eric says "yes, of course. So, tell me about him."

I say "well, I really like him. He's coming to pick me up in like ten minutes." Eric says "I want to know more. What does he look like? What does he do? Does he have a job? What's he like?" I say "well, he's working at the grocery store in town and he's in my grade and we go to school together. He's six foot, plays football but he's actually good, and he has pretty eyes and he's nice." Eric says "is he good to you like good morning good night texts?"

I say "yes." Eric says "ok, I'm gonna tell you something bad you need to hear all of it, understand?" I say "I understand." Eric then says "ok, you are getting older and I am younger than your parents so I understand what you're doing a bit more than they do. Anyway, you're getting older, sweetheart. This is when dating gets really real. Middle school might be real but this is, this could last forever, real. I want you to know that your feelings are valid and that this guy is almost an adult, there is no excuse for him to be neglectful of you or to be anything less than respectful of whatever you say. He should listen to you and hold the door for you. If he only takes you out for ice cream, he's just being cheap. Suggest something like dinner or kick him to the curb."

I nod and Eric keeps on saying "consent, hold doors, pick you up with flowers, and more than just ice cream date for the first one. If he doesn't do one of these, I don't want to see him again. I'll support you but I'm not going to like him." I say "ok, anything else?" Eric says "make sure he has a hobby and friends. If he's a loner than there's usually a reason for it. If he doesn't have a hobby, he'll be clingy to you and want to see you all the time." I say "you work with your husband." Eric says "we did long distance for awhile. We had to make money for gas to go see each other, therefore we don't see each other all the time."

I say "so, what are you telling me?" Eric says "Angelina, you are a beautiful young woman. People are dumb and you're mature. You're going to run into people your age that don't understand things like you. Most people don't get what you do, Angelica. I want you to know that, so if he does anything that doesn't feel right or makes you feel anything but amazing about yourself you are going to walk away. You get me? He better sweep you off your feet." I nod saying "I understand. He just texted me he's here."

Eric says "let him come in and figure it out" and his phone on the desk rings. He presses the button saying "yello?" The front desk lady says "a boys here for Angelina. He's a cutie." Eric says "send him in, honey" and she says "sure thing, sir" hanging up. I hear a knock on the door and Eric says "come in." He sits in his chair and puts his glasses on saying "sit down" typing something on his laptop. I look at Evan and he says "hey" smiling and I say "hi." Evan says "I got these for you" looking down then looking at me then handing me flowers.

I smile and Eric says "I'm Eric" standing up and and Evan stands up to shake his hand saying "I'm Evan, nice to meet you, sir." Eric says "so, Evan, I hear you're good in school?" Evan says "I'm an honors student. Parent rule to keep a B plus to keep playing football." Eric says "do you have an athletic scholarship in your future?" Evan says "I think so, there were scouts at the game the other day and my coach said they're looking at me. They're from a D one school, so I'm pretty pumped" smiling and Eric says "that's awesome" smiling.

Then he says "do you have a job?" Evan says "yes, sir" and Eric says "how many hours do you work?" He replies with "during football season, none. During basketball, a few hours a day. Then in the spring, I do fifteen hours about. Summer I work almost forty hour weeks." Eric says "good, you going to college?" Evan says "of course, I plan to get my masters in business management." Eric says "I'm gonna get straight to the point when I say, this family has very high standards for men. Trust me, I would know."

There's a knock on the door and Eric checks his laptop saying "come in?" Austin comes in saying "hi" and Eric says "hey, baby. Alright, listen to me when I say there are high expectations for you because of everyone before you. Rise to the expectations and you'll be alright." Austin says "no scaring off the new boy, they didn't scare you off." Eric says "I'm more skeptical and John told me to be mean but I don't want to."

Austin smiles saying "I love that y'all are friends. It's cute" and Eric says "ok, you two may go. Be safe and have fun and?" I say "and call my dad before nine one one." Austin says "ya know, that's what your dad told me before mind and Eric's first date. Good times." I say "it's the catchphrase around the house. Apparently if I call him instead of nine one one, I'm not obligated to fill out a claim along with sitting in a police station all night." We chuckle and Eric says "ok, get out of here."

Austin's POV
Angelina and the boy leave and I say "mmm, hey, boss" sitting in Eric's lap. He says "I've been thinking lately" and I say "about what, my love?" I kiss his temple, wrapping my arms around his neck. He says "I think we are doing pretty good for ourselves." I smile saying "I think so too" and Eric says "the finances are in order and I think we're gonna be making some cash for this coming year." I say "mmm, what do you want to buy?"

Eric says "it's gonna be a lot of money. We could really do something with it." I say "what do you propose?" Eric says "I don't know, we both have stable jobs, we could make a big investment. Since we work so frequently with them, I was thinking about kids" quietly. I say "I'd like that" smiling and running my fingers through his hair. He says "on top of that, we could also buy a Camaro with money to spare" and I chuckle saying "shut up" kissing him. Eric says "hey, I love you and we're in this together" and I say "I love you too and I wouldn't have it any other way" pecking his lips.
