chapter 31 things keep getting worse

I was sitting out on a rock when I heard a big click and the doors started to open. I darted inside. No one stopped me. When I was in the arena I hit a wall of people. I fell over and people told me to hush. I heard someone speaking. Him. I pushed through the people and found the stage. He was about to say that we were married. I jumped up on the stage. "DONT LISTEN TO HIM! HES LYING TO YOU ALL! HE JUST WANTS TO TAKE OVER THE CASTLE!" I yelled out over everyone. He got upset. "What are you doing. This is my chance and you ruining it!" He grabbed my hands and held a knife to my throat. "BOW DOWN TO ME NOW OR YOUR BELOVED PRINCESS DIES!" everyone kneeled immediately. "NO DONT DO IT! THERES STILL HERCULES FOR YOU ALL! HE CAN KILL ME DONT PUT MY ONE LIFE BEFORE ALL OF YOURS! AND DONT DO IT FOR ME DO IT FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN!" They all listened and stood up. "ALRIGHT SUIT YOURSELVES!" he yelled. He sliced the knife through my throat. It hurt but not as much as it would have to have let the kingdom down. I saw HERCULES jump up on the stage and take him down. And then I saw Detrius. He ran up onto the stage and took me straight to a doctor. They ran me into the hospital and started fixing me up. They stuck a tube down my throat and pumped air into my lungs. They stuck a needle in my stomach and then a few seconds later I passed out.

I came to in waht felt like three hours. I felt my neck and there was a bandage. It kinda hurt but not too much. I looked around the room. I realized that the only light was the one coming from the hall. It was just a table lamp. It was really dark in the room. It was kind of scary. I heard a switch flip and then all the lights turned on. the doctors started walking around and one came into my room. "Good morning your majesty. Feeling OK?" She asked. I couldn't talk so I gave her a thumbs up. "Good good. Now just make sure that you don't talk at all today you should be healed tomorrow. We out on the muscle stitch cream and the extra strength healing cream. You will be healed tomorrow. Meanwhile there is someone who wants to see you. I will bring him in, in just a moment." She left with a smile. A few seconds later Detrius came in. He walked over a took my hand. "Ooh my God Niki I'm so sorry I never should have left you alone. It's all my fault!" I touched his cheek. I mouthed the words don't say that. He just looked down. I oatted his cheek. He looked up. With my other hand I patted my lips. He smiled and then kissed me. Be knew that I was trying to say that even if it had been his fault I still loved him. He lifted his head. "OK well I have to get back to the arena. I am coming back every hour OK?" He said. I gave him a thumbs up and he smiled. He kissed me quick and then left. Now for me to get to the healing part.
