chapter 17 a lot of travelling later

It had been about a month of travelling and we were finally at the mountain just behind my school. There was a tent on the mountain but we thought nothing of it. Over the time we had travelled Detrius told me that I could also change into an animal but I could only choose one, so I chose a wolf. He is mixed with a wolf so I figured why did he have to be the only one. He was happy about it too. This way we would be at the same pace. We slept up in a tree the first night we arrived at the mountain. I climbed down early the next morning without waking Detrius or razcar. I climbed up onto a big rock that was there. I heard some ruffling. I figured it was the people in the tent. I looked down off the rock. They were all out of the tent now. One of them saw me and pointed. They all turned and when I saw their faces I knew exactly who they were. I was so surprised to see lyla, Alec, Abby, jack and mark that I fell off the rock. It was quite the drop and it hurt but not as much as the knives did. I scrambled up and walked over to them. Lyla recognised me as soon as I got closer. she hugged me and I hugged her back. I was so happy. Abby mark and jack all came running in a flying hug. They hugged me and we all ended up falling over. Alec was the only one still standing over there waiting for his hug. Once I got up I gave him a hug. He let go and looked at my eyes. He leaned in for kiss. I moved away before he could. "Niki what's wrong?" He asked. "Alec look I have moved on I'm sorry." I said that and left it at that. All of a sudden he got mad. Really mad. "How could you do this to me! Leave and not tell me and then go behind my back with some other guy! Where us he I want to see the guy that thinks he can take you away from me!" He was mad at me and I didnt say anything which made it worse. He pushed me and I fell on the ground. "WHERE IS HE!?" He yelled in my face. I got up and looked him in the eyes. I wasn't upset at him yet but if he pushed me one last time he was going to get it. I realised that lyla Abby mark and jack were all on his side with this. "Alec look I know your mad but I Dont want to fight with you." I said. They kept walking behind Alec and he was backing me up to the cliff side. "Alec please I Dont want to hurt you. Or anyone else at that." I said. I was at the edge of the cliff. All of a sudden Detrius was behind them all. "Hey what's going on here?" I could see his snout growing on his face. They all turned around and I shook my head at him as if to say Dont hurt them. "Let's just talk this out shall we." He said. Oh god this isn't good.
