Part of the family

The boys are still ghosts but can be seen by all lifers

Reggie was alone in the studio when he suddenly felt a pair of little arms wrap around him. He looks down to see Carlos giving him a tight hug.

"Woah, what's this for." Reggie says not use to this type of affection or even being able to be seen by Carlos let alone touched.

"Just because." Carols let's go. "I wanted to say thank you for scaring my aunt. I always knew ghosts were real! Adults never listen to me. But you helped me, you're like a superhero!"

Reggie feels warm and fuzzy on the inside. Knowing that he successfully helped Carlos and knowing he appreciates it makes him feel like he's has a purpose. A purpose he fulfilled. It's such an honor to hear Carlos say he's like a superhero. It means he's worth something to someone. He helped someone with something important.

Reggie smiles at Carlos who gives Reggie another hug. "I'm so glad you're part of the family."

Reggie's heart melted as he hugs Carlos back. "Me too." He says. He's never felt the kind of love you get from a family until he met Alex and Luke and know he got to feel it from Julie and her family too.

He could never be more grateful for the people he in his life he got to call family. Family not because he was related to them but family because they genuinely loved and cared about each other. That's what family was. And Reggie couldn't be more thankful he got to be a part of it and make those around him happy. He always felt as if it was his purpose to bring joy and light to those around him, and knowing that's what he did for Carlos made him feel like he was worth something more.
