another shop trip

When she woke up she adjusted her vision feeling the weight beside her confused her slightly til she seen his sleeping form . max lay peacefully asleep stretch out  she didn't want to move at all til she hear the babbles seeing luka looking straight at her before his lip started to wobble and the tears well up .  " i'm coming shh let not wake max " she cooed lifting herself gently from the bed to the toddler quickly.   " come on little man we get you change " she scrunched up her nose leaving the room more quietly .   padding her way down hall hair in disarray still in her sleep shorts and giant tshirt til she got to luka room to get him changed and ready for the day ahead .  she went about her tasks humming and singing to the toddlers  getting his clothes ready noticing wasn't much of a selection .  " we still need to get him more clothes " a voice called from the door . she turned to see storm watch her with adoration in her eyes .  " well i think i might do that today " Y/N smiled . "  would you its just  most of adults and  teens are busy today " she asked hopefully. "   i'm sure the super soldiers can help " she smiled sweetly down to luka who just gooed up at her . " i missed you so much " storm gush giving her quick hug . " i missed you guys too , i'll visit the weekends like steve said " she hugged her back  before picking luka up  and going back to her room . when she walked in she saw max looking through her stuff . " hey nosey good to see you up " she coughed bringing his eyes to hers . " sorry i was curious " he looked terrified making her heart hurt . " its ok just next time ask  " she smiled softly . " i wont cry if you hit me " he stood up awaiting for the punishment. " no no no that's not how we do things here  , look  your a kid in a different room  your bound to snoop , hell i'd be same and i'm adult but we have to respect people's privacy so think we can do that next time " she crouched down making him flinch at first but slowly nod.  She held out her hand once again slowly til he took it and she brought them for breakfast .  

when they walked in luka babbled happily at everyone and max gave a shy smiled earning smiles from the older members at the table. " hey grandpa sorry we are late  , we enjoyed sleep this morning " she sat luka in  his high chair .  " well its the weekend so i thought at much , surprised you happy usually no a morning person  "he chuckled .  " she still isn't  " steve chuckled.  "  oh zip it  ,  could i take a car today " she asked   . " yeah of course if you wan't to take luka   we have car seat " the professor smiled . "  where you going kitten " piotr asked . " well you big chrome hunk i'm going to get some stuff for luka and the kids " she smiled . " i'll give you starks card " steve smiled . " no i can give her money " the professor smiled . " well i already have starks card and i text him i was using it so both of you chill " she laughed . " who's going with you " rogue asked slightly worried . " myself " she didn't bother look up to see them not accepting the answer . " i will go " piotr smiled . " no to shiny brings attention " she shook her head .  " i'll go " bucky spoke up . " course you will jerk " steve gave him a knowing smirk that made the rest catch on . " max my little buddy can you help me and mister america here  " logan asked earning a eagar nod from the boy  .  " how did you get starks card " steve asked randomly. " gave him a big hug " she shrugged . " thats my girl " logan laughed earning a look from the other. " i mean bad girl "   .  

when once dressed and read for the day she walked to the garage with  a seemingly nervous bucky and  a tired luka  went for straight for the jeep , giggling when she seen the car seat already in it . " they know me so well " she mused putting the baby  and making sure he was secure . bucky on other hand was seriously loving it , it was like family day out god he felt like a pathetic mess for all these strange feeling . " so ready to go  " she asked him  only to receive a dreamy smile in return.  " okie dokie "  she tilted her head slightly at him and set off on the road .   she wondered slightly what made the usually cocky and talkative sargent so quiet but decided not to push it given their history as is . bucky on other hand started feeling nervous like teenage boy being with his crush for first time god he felt like pre serum steve  .   " i was thinking we go get luka so clothes  then go for lunch then hit  mall  to get some stuff for kids and teens " she finally spoke up .  " perfect yeah thats cool " he rambled earning another head tilt .  " okie dokie " she said quietly . turning the radio on to kill the silence losing herself in the music she began singing softly  sending bucky into a straight up dreamy daze.
