the captains backfire

it may have taking steve longer than usual to realize the prank which as much as he wanted to blame it being good but the signs where all there . the biggest give away was bucky letting her do it not a problem he should of know when it comes to the ones he loved bucky wouldn't have let her do anything that could harm his child or herself . so here he was sitting in front of loki feeling a major dumb dumb but instead of what everyone thought he would do like his first plan was to sit and mop around but not this time he was going to prank back only it was hard to do when the  target was a highly intelligent enhanced such as Y/N  so loki help was very much needed.   even loki was very much surprised to see the great captain america standing looking to seek his skill  to cause more mischief in the compound.  so now the two sat across from each other steve looking for the words to say or even come up with a idea  still silent as the god awaited for some sort of sound to come from his lips .  as amusing as it was to see the captain in such an awkward distress it grew boring for the god looking at the man wishing him to speak but atlas not a word .  " oh my norns man does that tongue of yours only work when you bark out orders" loki huffed .  " well i thought you could read minds so i was waiting for you to speak anyways so kittens being teasing us all week fair we shouldn't have assumed anything or believed sam but she could of told us the truth and well instead of confronting her i think giving her a dose of her own medicine would be the perfect outcome and well i don't know even where to start  " steve rambled. " well well well the righteous captain america would like to divulge in the art of mischief " he snickered.  " well can you help me or not loki" steve groaned hating the fact loki was enjoying this a little too much . " i will help you but it will not be easy she is a close to a mischief maker to me than any other  mortal on this planet " he shrugged .  the  god and the man sat for hours brainstorming the whole evening of what to do . every suggestion steve would spark showed  how much help this man truly needed and after spending the best part of the day practicing with loki steve went to bed that night with a mission ready mindset . 

the morning bright and beaming into his room as steve's head rose from the pillow , a quick stretch  instantly determine in his own revenge plan .   first he was to continue his protective stance stopping kitten from her own little mission keep things normal  .  there she stood calibrating the distance of the widow bites as nat shot at the targets . " whats going on here" he asked hand on his hip pretending to be concerned . " testing the widow bites and now you can watch nat shot me with one i wanna see if the effect my claws" she smiled brightly up at him . " no out of the question way too dangerous" he shook his head .   " she can handle it steve, she more super soldier too " nat rolled her eyes barely even looking at the man as she started getting ready . " well then bucky can do it" he said already texting a way at his phone. " or you could captain" kitten chuckled. " nah buck already agreed" he shrugged . "  nat lets get started" y/n rolled her eyes walking into the firing zone .  " don't nat" steve warned but the widow turned and smirk as she fired the shot  hurdling toward  kitten . Her claws raised back swinging forward then falling to the ground  , body spasms and convulse. " shit" nat voice whispered before running toward  her friend. the smoke oozing from her body as they stood over her. " well you can no subdue a supersoldier but you will need to work quick that put me down for what half a minute or so " kitten groaned lifting herself off the ground. " everything ok in here " they turned to see bucky standing at the door . " yeah nat  knocked me on my ass for like half a minutes" kitten groaned getting up . " well i did tell you it was stupid so it kind of a physical way of i told you so " steve grumbled. " and incredibly stupid doll " bucky added .  " nat  shoot them both" she rolled her eyes as their widen .  both hitting the ground instantly as the two laughed  as the lay in a smokey mess . " how long was that" nat asked between her laughing fit. " same as me maybe dial it up a little bit by two more " kitten shrugged before walking out the testing area. 

the rest of the day steve was being himself but adding more like checking her food by temp making sure it wasn't too hot or cold , cooked right basically babying  Y/N   during the day  . the rest of team couldn't help but look at him strangely but loki gave him a nod in achievement.  the rest of week it continued he dialled it up by shadowing her around taking the brunt of whatever may happen but loki continued to tell him it was working .  he even began trying to feed her that caught bucky's attention watching his best friend in confusion but choose not to say anything because he could see his fiance ready to blow .  the vein on her forehead sticking out more and more each time. " ok stevie i love you like a brother but if you try feed me one more thing i will really make you shredded"  .  " come on one more bite " he said ignoring everyone  considering maybe the captain finally snapped and went into a demented state til she could hear the snicker of a certain god . " ok loki what did you do " she asked  making everyone follow her eyes . " nothing he did nothing" steve quickly said .  "  you think he helping you get me back ohhh stevie  the mischief isnt for me it's for you " she turned to her friend . " no cause loki gave me a perfect plan to get.. you .. oh shit" his head almost hitting the table until she stopped it sending loki into a fit of laughter  ." wow captain you really are the mother hen " he snorted .  " loki i feel that hair of your is growing way too long" kitten smirked raising her claw as the god gulped . " oh not at all i am not afraid of you little  kitten " he laughed nervously. " brother i do feel it is right you run "thor boomed .  she rose to her feet as loki raised to his both mirroring each others action before she lunged  making the great god of mischief run like a scared child .  " really you thought loki would prank kitten " bucky whispered to his best friend . " yeah i didn't think it true" he almost whined as bucky pat his back .  " LEAVE ME BE YOU MEWLING QUIM" Loki voice could be heard . " COME ON PRINCESS JUST A TRIM " Kitten called back .  " is mommy gonna hurt uncle loki " evie asked . " YESS " The table called in unison .
