THE BIG QUESTION (PART 2 )

That morning they both woke up differently . She had woken up quite Angsty and he woke up a bundle of nerves . He gotten text during the night steve and sam sending pictures of there task done , wanda of hers and  pietro and peter  of their . So far so good  but the problem was the rather anxious woman in his mist .  He'd notice her fidgeting  alot as they made breaks questions in his head . Did she know and didn't want him to . " doll are you ok " he asked calmly . " I miss home " he hated how her voice cracked and knowing what she really ment was she misses luka . Which to be honest he was himself . " how about we go to the fair  and then if you still feel the same after , we can cut the trip in short " he suggest because the fair was the main feature of his plan .  The soft nod of her head relieved him slightly of his nerves but not by much . What she didn't know was in the early hours of the morning while she was perfectly in a slumber he stood in the mirror practising his speech til he shook  his head thinking he sounded slight more sales pitch. He even tried being casual " hey doll let's get hitched " struck that one straight of the list .  He's finally found what he thought was perfect way and stuck with it. " I swear I still smell my dad " she shook her head . Shit he hadn't taken her bloodhound nose into account . He could feel his hands clam up both even if I was impossible  . He text the team to try keep distance so nothing was giving away .  It was like everything that could go wrong would go wrong . First she was ready to go home granted been longest she been from compound voluntarily  . Two she might sniff out the team . And three well there wasn't one yet but if jame buchanan barnes knew of anything was the universe made him  her bitch .

By lunch time she was still chomping at the bit and trying to hid her discomfort  but he needed her to wait  it out . " hey how about  we distract ourselves " he suggested didn't know if it was for her or himself .  " and how will we do that " she asked . " well go to the diner for lunch  then  we decide from there " he smiled Trying so hard to hid his nerves . " ok that might help " she sighed . " come on we get dressed " he held his hand out . When she came out dressed in her sun dress suddenly the diner wasn't the destination  he wanted to take her . How she managed to take his breath away each time just cemented his feeling for her even more .

The diner trip actually worked unknowingly  he used it as a ploy to buy more time but they started to relax slightly and had a good time he even danced with her making her giggle and take her mind from home . Of course the endless supply of brownies helped too but she was his doll and his doll got what she wanted well other then going home earlier . The car trip to the fair was an 2 hours from the diner which aligned perfectly . She sat looking out the window admiring the scenery pass them by she even got excited at the cows they passed on there way  resulting in her saying she'd never seen a real one prompting bucky to stop the car and look at her . " how have you never seen a cow " he quizzed.  " ive seen them on TV but not like in real life hello I didn't have childhood " she stated playfully . " come we are going to see cows " he said pulling out to the fence to the hooved  animals  in question . She was cautiously  moving towards the fence and try not jump back when it came close to her . " doll are you afraid of the cow " he chuckled . " no but it is fact you've more chance of dying from cow then shark so it's reasonably  if I was " she informed him quickly. "  ok ok come on we we see the cows later " he snorted earning a glare shot in his direction  .

The fair was quiet when he first arrived making them just enjoy walking around the different stall tasting the local produce that was rather forced on him . People would stop and stare as he held her hand in his .  They would whisper the winter soldier was at there fair or some would say avengers where here .  She was first to shoot them glares or let bit of her claw out making them promptly shut their traps . Earning a kiss on the cheek from her kind beautiful  boyfriend . The night dragged on and they begin starting up the games making her excitedly hurry over  and  want to play immediately  . As he went to take his wallet out he stood still wishing the world would eat him up . The ring he forgot to bring the ring . " you Ok bucky " she asked noticing his demeanour  . " yeah thought I lost something " he smiled taking his phone out and telling team it would be happen at the other destination to which sam replied " dumbass forgot the ring ". Not giving him satisfactory  victory he chose to ignore it . Wanda and nat said they would make it more special and not to worry but not to be too long or one part of plan was not going to work .  She was like a child running around the fair to play everything and anything til bucky took her hand and guided her and the many stuffed animals and a two goldfish  name stank and Stink   ( named after her great friend and boss ) . She let the window down the evening air hit her face as she drove back  her nose picking up the blooming flowers , sap in the trees  , luka .. wait luka . She kept it too herself knowing she must of been experiencing some sort of mental breakdown but she started smelling the others pulling up to the cottage . Bucky checked his phone seeing steve may have broken in to get the ring it was at the destination .  Pulling by her hand as she went to go in  they walked through the forest. She started walking ahead only for bucky to pull her back abit . He knew why the rush she could smell him , hell he could smell him . But with her speed increasing she would spoil it so he done the most rational thing he could think of and throw her over his shoulder earning a surprised yelp .   once they got the clearing she was hit by every scent she come to love only now they were face with her ass. " erm bucket i know teams here so could you let me down please and stop showing off my ass .. steve will get jealous " she told him  making him shoot them a glare for looking at his girls ass not that the had a choice in the matter .  " whats everyone doing her " she asked looking to see them all happy faces well except for wanda , pepper , wanda and steve weirdly enough looking like the wanted to cry .  before she could ask the scene finally hit her the meadow was now adorned in lights  that where similar to fallen stars garland placed perfectly around the tree's . " what going on " she turned around  to see luka in her dad arms suddenly not caring for answer as she dashed towards the toddler standing still when she took in his t-shirt  on back it said "we have an important question to ask you " then when logan turned him forward  it read " will you marry my dad " . she could feel the tear prick at her eyes already seen logan nod to behind her breathe caught in her throat . Bucky kneeled on one knee  holding her mothers ring  she could see his hands shake as well as her own  . 

" Doll when  i first even heard your giggle in the kitchen the first day you arrived i was a goner  then when i seen you well i felt my knee go weak and my brain flurry  and my heart well was yours and well then i opened up my big trap and ruined it but when  we got to  the school it was a chance to start over clean slate , watching you care for luka lit something in me all i wanted to do was build a life with you and him   , i thought i was going crazy til we danced in the bar it was like it was only us to that existed and i knew it i was crazy but more so crazy for you . then when you were taking it felt like a part of me was missing i would sacrifice myself over and over again just to have you safe , it may be soon in normal life but after everything i don't want to go another second without you in mine so as our beautiful some has asked will you marry me " he sniffled not bother to hide the tears that came down his face anymore . she stood looking into his eyes the all consuming love for him burned deeply. " yes " she whispered her voice unable to go any higher but she added the nodded on her head before she realised it she was diving into his arms almost smothering him in kisses only to stop when he put the ring on her shaky hand .   " congratulation to the happy couple " tony cheered as the team joined in  . " thank tony " she sniffled keeping her arm wrapped around  bucky waist .
