Bad Luck

Fury  knew it before he even walked into the compound , the missed calls told him that much .  He  knew she found out and she would be scared shitless .  the walk down the halls of the compound felt like they were dragging on forever  as he made his way into the lab . " he's out uncle nick " her voice sounded so broken .  " she hacked into the raft and seen for herself "  tony explained . "  i was on my way to tell you but i had a feeling you would find out " fury sighed . "  he's following her " nat  informed her . " i couldn't see him but i could smell him " she sniffled the memories flooding her head  everything she thought she  pushed deep down flooding back .  " what a way to start a new job" she laughed throwing her hands up in defeat .  "  i could always go back to shield " she added . " no no you aren't leaving us before you even started " nat said . " i agree with Romanoff " tony agreed . " im hydra most precious weapon they would do nothing to stop to have me and with stryker out he wants  me to fulfill that wish " she explained. " i thought mr. barnes was their best weapon " peter asked . " she project X-22 ?  " bucky asked  shocked even he heard of the weapon during his time at hydra  only the higher ups knew of  it , the rest thought it was a silly rumor spread from base to base .   " sorry " he said regretting even asking . " i think its better if i leave " she sniffled . " nope not happening  " tony shook his head . " as much as i would love to take you home , you can't let them make  hide in fear or stop doing what you love " logan agreed . " i'll stay " she sighed weakly .  " ok no more saying you leave " tony joked making her giggle slightly .   " i'm going home kitten , i'm  see if we can find anything on styrker  , i'll keep you guys in the loop i'm sure the professor will be willing to help " he smiled softly . " ok dad give everyone my love" she got up and hugged him tightly  leading him out .  " so tin man since you've destroyed any chance with the newbie  i might asked her out " sam wiggled his brows as he drank his water  .  " and you will be told no aswell " she called coming back into the room  making sam choke on his water ." so tin man still has a chance "  sam coughed . " nope mr. barnes doesn't have a chance " she quipped bringing her plate to the kitchen .  " come on kitten i apologised " bucky called .  " bullet and words have something in common  , once you shoot them out you cant take them back ,  oh and its Yn , goodnight mr barnes , good night everyone   " She waved walking out the room . Once in safety of her room she crawled up on her bed and curled into a ball and cried til sleep eventually took over. 

when her eyes open they stung  with the light and the dry tears  from the night before . she padded her way to her bathroom feeling the soothing of the cold water hitting her face . the event the day before playing heavily in her head she made her way to her closet taking out some sweats and tank top no bothering to even make the effort in .  she was so happy to start her new job and it was instantly taken from her now she was just binding her time before she was taken again .  when she walked into the dinning room everyone looked up the pity stares had her sinking in on  herself .  " ok stop looking at me like those shelter dog " she looked at them pointly taken her seat.  " how are you feeling this morning " vision asked . " i'm ok just alot " she told him picking at the food infront of her .  " what do you do to cheer yourself up " steve asked . " erm reading or going the bookstore actually i might do that today  " she smiled a little . " maybe leave going out kid " steve looked over. " no , i get hydra are looking for me but i'm not going to hide in fear plus i can bring someone with me " she shrugged surprising herself . "  only one free to do that is barnes " tony spoke up. " i'll go by myself  look i get your worried but no one tells me whether i can go out or not it's my choice and once its not  messing with work then don't tell me what do to " she told them sternly  before eating her food  as the room fell silent  . " she sort of scary " tony whispered to steve. "  or acting like spoiled brat " bucky muttered lowly thinking it wasn't heard . " look i get you do things differently here and worried about my safety but i don't take orders lightly unless it  work .. oh and barnes  your an ass " she walked out of the room as nat proudly watched.  "  she doesn't want to be locked up or ordered around  , we're not hydra " wanda told them all .  " so what let her go out and let them take her " bucky looked at the witch .  " no  your going to follow her " nat sang .    " that wont work  , she'll smell him " sam pointed out . " well she will just have to suck it up  " nat shrugged.  " she could kill him  " steve added ." she wont  ... i think " nat replied .
