Time away

Time seem to move too fast once she was home  2 months being free . One thing about it she was stayed in compound it.   Was like she was afraid to leave at all the team were worried  a little bit but didn't want to push her . Bucky on other hand began planning he got the ok from logan to take luka for 3 days   .  He had found a beautiful  getaway spot little cottage in the wood  he and steve went and checked it out and tony and nick ran background checks . So while she was spending time in the lounge or  playing piano  nat and wanda pack her bags  for her .  " ok so doll me and you are going away for 3 days  well four sort of 3 nights away  4 days " bucky sat on the  sofa looking at her with his big ass smile she loved too much . " what about luka " she  already not wanting to leave . " your old man is watching him aswell as the team , you need a break away  from all of this  just space for you too breath basically " . " i don't have anything packed " she shrugged  . " sorted we leave in like 2 hours   plus be good time for us to be a couple  " he shrugged . she sat and though and about it leaving bucky kind of nervous but when she  really thought about  . They never really did the whole couple thing   more parents and then kidnapped then parents . " ok  we go but if wanna leave early blame luka for being so cute " she sighed kissing the toddler hard on the head .   "  really i thought i'd have to persuade you more  " he smiled proudly . " awh buckaroo can't persuade me to do anything m, you'll learn in time " she tapped his cheek . " well this weekend we  do that sweet cheeks " he smirk as he pat her as walking away  as her cheeks lit up . " maybe this weekend won't be too bad " she thought. 

saying goodbye to luka proved harder than she thought she kept kissing his cheeks and telling him to be good and logan to be good while she was at it  til bucky threw her on her shoulder  kissed luka on the head and walked to the car  as she wave at the laughing avengers . " guess i'll see you guys in four days " she laughed .   He placed her gently in the car kissing her cheek as he put the seat belt on .  Then made his way to the driver side more pep in his step as he did so .   As they drove off she could help watching back at the team mainly luka who didn't seem too upset her leaving she felt a little offended .  She couldn't help be excited though  this was first time she'd been away with partner not that there was list but two previous partners  in her life was all to go on but even if she had 2 or 20  or even 200 bucky would beat them all in how amazing he was . They were kinda together  and everything was rushed but it still worked for them only step they haven't taking was sleeping together  and that part she was willing to admit she was nervous about. But she put it to back of her mind and let herself enjoy  it being  just the two of them .  she could help staring at his beautiful face as he drove  , he really was stupidly handsome it was hard to believe he wanted her but little did she know he thought the same thing he couldn't believe his luck getting her as his girlfriend . Hell he wanted to marry her something he not even felt back in the 40s .  She was confused when they stopped outside    grocery store but he quickly told her they would need food  while they stay . " oh you get to taste my cooking again "she winked  jumping out the car.  literally second later the camera's surround the two  asking   her what her name was . " so is the playboy bucky barnes finally tied down " one asked. " very much so in love " he smirked usually not one to leak his private life but with a dame like her he couldn't help it .  " she's Dr Howlett  " one realised . " yeah its here damn barnes you really got the whole package " another called. " better than whats er name " another said making her grimace knowing fully well he was talking of beth . " sweety if you ever  get tired of barnes give me a call " one handed her a card . " ok ok back off my dame guys " he said leading her into the store .  Not even twenty minute later  tony rang asking whether to let them run the story or not . " run it " bucky proudly told him before hanging up .  " thought you liked a private life " she cocked her head looking at him . " i do but i also want everyone know your my dame " he shrugged putting food in the cart .  she couldn't help  her mind wandering towards the kids clothes seeing avenger and Xmen  pjs   .  " really doll " he laughed as she got some in both luka size and newborn for tony and pepper . " of course look luka can represent his dad " she giggled putting them in the cart . " ok out  and away   " he laughed as she pouted up at him . " not going to work this time come on we get more food still 4 hour drive to go  " he smiled kissing her pouty lips making her smile .  

once back on the road she took in various green scenery that passed making her more excited to see where they were going . She also couldn't help  how sleepy she was getting  her eyes becoming harder before she knew it she was been shaking awake by bucky looking around to see the little woods the surrounded  them . " ah shit your brought me here to kill me did you " she said wiping the sleep from her eyes . " well of course might eat you too " he pretended to ponder the idea . " make sure you season me well i've seen you trying to cook " she snorted . " ok that's in " he grabbed her hip throwing her over his shoulder as she yelp . " you caveman put me down " she giggled .  putting her down softly he looked down at her adoringly as she looked at the cottage they were making home for the next few days . It was like an old english cottage surrounded by wood making it almost fairytale like .  " if there's three bears in there i'm sacrificing you " she joked walking toward the cottage . " not if i sacrifice you first " he said opening the door .  " you wish you this quick " she wink running in to explore inside was like  modern but elegant touch to it everything gave a cosy feel to it . " wow you really done well bucket " she smiled . " ok sit there and be pretty i'll get stuff from car " he ruffled her hair. " oh you sexist ass , no i will be helping while i look pretty " she said walking out to the car grabbing the bags  leaving the pjs in the car for luka . " such a brat " he teased  . " better do something about it sargent " she stuck her tongue out not realising fully was she said .  " oh trust me i will baby girl " he kissed her heatedly then walked off as she tried to realise what just happened.
