The first night as predicted a hard one evies nightmares triggering the claws to come out and strike her side making her jolt from her sleep.  Muffling the screams so she didn't scare  either eve or bucky but her efforts failed as the both shot up . " we need to get you to bruce " bucky panicked . " I'm sorry please don't put me in the cell " evie sobbed . " hey you both need to chill its healing see " she showed them both the wound almost gone . " we need to get you inhibitors little miss " she smiled down at the girl . " your not going to put me in the cells " she sniffled making Y/N heart sink . " of course not it was accident but the inhibitors  will stop it happen you can wear mine for now " she smiled securing the bands on her wrist ." It will stop your abilities  or powers coming out  so no more accidents " she smiled softly . " Your taken them away cause I'm bad " she asked pouting . " no once you take them off you'll still have your power , it only for sleeping , how about daddy takes you for some hot chocolate  and i'll clean the bed off " she smiled at both of them bucky looked at her worried seeing the blood around the now healed wound. " go I'm fine my healing is better than your" she smirked earning eye roll from the super soldier . " come on evie " he said holding his hand out for her to take . " your not in trouble " Y/N reminded her as girl started shaking.

Walking into main kitchen logan stood making the hot chocolate  . " Y/N text said the kid needed the good stuff " he chuckled. " don't tell her I said this but she is right " bucky nodded helping evie into the seat . " I hurt mommy " the little voice sniffled ." It was accident evie " bucky told her rubbing her back . He hated everytime he came near her how she would jump or flinch at the touch . " you know your mommy done that to me  actually done it 3 times " logan said placing their cups down . " really and you didn't put her in cell " she asked looking at the cup her little mouth watering at the scent . " no cells here evie" bucky told her . " why do you call me evie " she asked finally bringing the cup to her mouth. " nickname " he shrugged he really didn't realise he was doing it . " I like it " she decided before drinking the drink . Her eyes widened at the taste and smiled when she put the cup down . " see pop pop makes best hot chocolate" logan boasted shamelessly .  " this is really yummy " she sighed happily . 

A noise from the door made them  turn to see pregnant pepper standing  there . " of All that is good in the world can you make Me a cup " she finally said  tony coming into the room not long after. " coming up  , want a refil princess " logan chuckled  at the girl eager nod . " everything OK " tony asked . " she had nightmare and accidently stabbed Y/n in herself " bucky whispered . " working on inhibitors astound be ready for tomorrow night " tony nodded itching to get into the lab . " so heard your having a girl " logan said changing the subject as he concentrated on the pot in front of him . " yeah not long left now " pepper sighed rubbing her belly . " pepper has a baby in her tummy " bucky explained.  " is  she gonna be family too " evie asked . " yeah of course she kicking do you wanna feel " pepper asked  holding her hand out . "Why is she kicking you " her little brows quirked with curiosity . " cause she can smell the hot chocolate " pepper joked . " yeah yeah I get the hint " logan snorted placing the cups down .  " we're do baby's come from " evie looked at bucky who suddenly had no answers . " make them in a lab then put them in mommy's belly " tony shrugged answering easily  . " like were i was " she asked suddenly tony regretted his answer. " hey princess would you like some cookies " logan spoke up diverting the conversation  completely. " what's that " she asked . " its yummy treat " pepper smiled sadly seeing buckys face fall completely. Once they finished their drinks and evie decided she liked cookies bucky brought her back to the room where Y/n was coming out of lukas room her clothes changed . " mommy we had hot chocolate  and I felt peppers baby kick " the girl jumped on the bed excitedly . " you did that wonderfully loving the energy by the way " she looked at bucky when she said last part . " she may of had couple of cookies " he replied sheepishly .  " well  come on you two and we get some sleep " she said jumping into the bed . 

the morning came quicker than she thought but  enjoying the calm and quiet for moment before she thought of everything that happened  and the new information she was still digestion . Some would probably call her nuts for being so accepting of the kids but same time he knew what it was like to be in their shoe. she was taking at such a young age. she  was most part happy to get luka and now evie so young. luka won't remember what happened and maybe evie would soon forget what hydra did be long road but she was willing to go down it. Adam would be different story and she didn't know that story til they found him. It confused her to why she was missing someone she barely knew or even knew existed til the day previous .  knowing a part of her was out their suffering in the same hands that hurt her beyond  an imagination could even ponder . when she join the compound she expected nothing but just to work not gain a family fiance in matter  nearly a year. She knew it was crazy and insane to take all of it on but she  didn't care she was going to find him no matter what  , he didn't deserve to be a puppet or weapon  for them and she sure as hell was going to make sure it didn't but it was hydra they had no limits on what they would do to a being no matter the age they were . lost in her thought til she felt the ruffle of bodies beside her . " you ok doll " bucky groaned as he stretch smiling at evie's little frame wrapped around him .  " just processing everything still" she said truthfully before getting up to the babbling luka .  " we will get through all of this" he called to her . " i know but its alot and what if we don't find adam or what if we do and he hates us or blames us" she sighed holding luka to her a little tighter knowing if gabrielle didn't escape with him he would of experience the same fate.  " we can do it" he reassured her kissing her head then repeating the same to luka who began to get grumpy. " come on we feed these two" she said feeling evies small hand in hers .  " we can do this ... i hope" she thought before leaving the room .
