Old ties

 as long as she could remember she was in this room even though she was young , her little mind couldn't understand why this was her life ,  He always told her she was his special one  but yet she was in a dingey cold room . the lady doctor was always nice to her , she made sure she was fed and blanket to keep her somewhat warm.  the little girl could even hear her tell the man not to do this  to a little child . " you will keep your opinions to yourself or you know what will happen " he would tell her .  It didn't stop the doctor reading to her or caring for her as much as she could giving the circumstance .  they never called the young girl a name she was known as X-22   or a man they would call special one . One night the lady doctor would rush into the room frantic and upset . " come on princess we are getting you out of here " she called  lifting the small child like she was nothing .   " is it time " she simply asked .  " no i'm getting you away from this place " the woman smiled nervously watching out the door to see if anyone was coming.  as they ran down the many hallways the woman would tell the guard she was bring the child to the testing area .  " i have to fulfill my special job " the girl would cry out  . " hey no we're going to get you back to  your parent " she would coo trying to calm her down .  " you will be going no where doctor " a man called followed by the sound of loud bang  . " this isn't right she is a child " the woman gritted as she fell to the floor still gripping the child. " she is not your concern anymore doctor " he smiled shooting her again . " bring the child to the testing room now " he ordered as guards took the screaming child away .  after  what felt like a long time she  stopped crying walking into a large room with machines filled with a silver looking liquid  . " strap her down " a voice called .  she turned to see a man in a doctors coat checking over everything while they strapped her tight to the table . " vitals are good time to begin " he called as he shoved needles into her body making her scream.  the burning pain taking over her body as she screamed louder blood curdling screams even made the guards uneasy . her body feeling heavy and her eyes feeling heavier as the pain and everything else seemed to numb , the darkness taking over. 

two year later her and Stryker where in a  large van , he was telling her to be good while he was away his friend would help her train for her future purpose .  all she could do was nod silently the fear had left those two years ago , now she knew if she just agreed it would be easier no one would be hurt . as they pulled up she was met by a short man with whitish hair smiling menacingly at her . " you have three years to train her  and for the money i am paying it better be worth it  Dreykov  " stryker smiled . " of course she will be unstoppable " dreykov smirked clicking his fingers as the men led her to another van .  day blended into weeks that blended into months . this place was no better but she would do it . she even got help of a girl called Natalia , the red head would be so protective of her reminding her of the  doctor  . the only comfort she had in the hell hole . she would help with the ballet training and  then fighting training , would show her faster ways to put guns together . after years of all this stryker finally showed up and took her making her miss her friend .

She didn't stay long as he told her she was finally ready to go to her final place  Hydra .  " pierce its good to see you " stryker smiled shaking the mans hand . " is this her " he smiled proudly.  " it is  X-22 show him " he ordered  pointing to his own guard . she simply walked over producing metal claws from her knuckles slicing the mans throat quickly  before returning to the two men .  " pay him and take her " pierce clapped . " go this is your new master X-22 you will obey his command " stryker called making her nod.   " don't worry about him... rumlow call clean up crew " he ordered following his men as they took her to the awaiting van .  " we have  big plans for you " pierce smirked.  when they arrived she was brought straight to a lab  as pierce order  the scientist to  test her   as her genetics would stand she should have more than just the claws .   weeks turned to months which turned into years they would torture her getting her to use the newly discovered abilities . straving her so she would comply  , she tried  showing no fear sometime even killing the scientist and agents who would hurt her . knowing  this was her only home she ran back to stryker only for him to bring her back only for her to be hurt more .  

as she lay in her cell  awaiting for the men to come , they told her that soon she would start her missions , they put so much effort into her  they wanted to be patient .  as the door open she sprung to her feet as a man in a trench coat and eye patch approach her . " come on kid we will get you to safety " he spoke softly .   she simple smirked and produced her claws as his face dropped . " Yn " he gasped . " who the hell is YN , I'm X-22 " she gritted waiting for him to strike. "  you're name is Yn Howlette your father is Logan howlette  , come on kid ill bring you to him " he spoke even more softly . " this is a test i'm not stupid " she gritted .  " it's not a test  kid come on i'll prove it to you" he pleaded .   she watched him carefully seeing something like she had seen all those years ago on the fallen doctors face. " if your lying to me i'll slit your throat " she growled walking toward him as he walked out of the cell .  " your safe kid no one will hurt you again  " . as the walked she smelled the agent approaching making her turn as she seen his gun raised as he took the shot. " NOOO " the man called  but soon stunned as the bullet was frozen still in the air turning around hitting the agent between the eyes .  " my name is nick fury " he called trying to compose himself . " lead the way fury" she growled watching around . she didn't know why she was following him but she did so anyways she couldn't shake the new feeling in her gut , maybe it was hope .  " call logan howlette and bring him to shield " he called into his com . " shield i knew this was a trap " she growled backing up . " we have pierce he on the raft as well as stryker " fury reasoned . " how can i trust you " she asked . " i can't give you a reason to trust me but let me show you over time " he smiled softly . 

walking through the shield building the agents stared at the young girl sadly , they all heard of the child found in the hydra cells .  " kid is that you " A familar voice called making her heart stop . " natalia " she breathed . " its natasha now or nat  " she smiled softly approaching . " this place red room too " the girl asked looking around her claws slowly starting to come out again . " neither these are the good guys "  . " so this really isn't a test " the emotions hitting her like a freight train . Dropping to the ground as she tried to get her breathing to slow down . " come on Yn someone is waiting to meet you " fury said gently placing his arms around her making her flinch at the soft touch .  "  well  Yn Ill come check on you later ok " nat smiled sadly . " can you come with me nat " she sniffled  . " someone tell barton something came up " nat called to the other agents  as she walked with Yn and fury . the room the walked toward  the room she could see a man pacing nervously  looking like a million emotions running on his face .  " i'll go in first  you stay with romanoff " he spoke softly to the girl  after walking into the room . "i'm sorry i didn't find you sooner kid " nat spoke up . " i didn't even know if you were still alive, am i really free " she asked unsurely . " you are , you will never have to listen to orders again kitten " the widow promised .  " Yn are you ready " fury called making her snap from her thoughts  . she looked unsurely at the door getting an encouraging smile from nat . some part of her was accepting she was free the other part was telling her to run it was a test . her feet betraying her as a  the man stared in shock  a woman with white hair standing by his side tears in her eyes . " YN this logan Howlett your father " fury spoke . " hey i'm x  ... im x .... Im YN " she struggled . " well im your father and mothers friend my name Ororo Munroe , but you can call me storm like all my friends " her soft voice instantly providing a little comfort . " its really you " logan said after being speechless for so long making his way towards her a she stepped back . " i'm not going to hurt you " he promised making her nod as his arms wrapped around her .   a forgein but welcome feeling ... she was finally safe .
